The Kingdom's Presence in All Nations: Goal of Apostolic Prophetic Intercession

The answer to everything amiss in the world is relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. There is no other alternative for man. Every agenda of God serves this eternal purpose:

If indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you; that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God's grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.  (Ephesians 3:2-12)

Since such witness of Christ is intended to permeate every authority and societal sphere of mankind, we always "miss it" when in protectionist mode. We have not only been given the answer, living inside each and every one of us is The Answer.  "Christ in us" means we are a signpost of the what, who and why of existence.  And since true grace and faith for our justification are what has been purchased by Christ's blood, we cannot ever be defeated by what opposes God (Col.1:27; Ro.8:28-39; Isa.54:15-17). Insured that we have the Lord's protection, we are required to make His priorities our priorities and keep them as such. Therefore, we must repent of and abandon the preoccupation with circumstances in order to fight the true warfare of the true Kingdom Gospel being preached and demonstrated, so that the Church Jesus came to build will be established (Mt.24:14; 16:16-19).

Intercession: Right, Privilege & Responsibility of All

Relationship with Christ agrees with His heart cry for expanding the Kingdom's presence. That is always the authenticator of true intercession, even when we do not comprehend or understand what we do (or need to do) when in prayer (Ro.8:26). And conformity to Christ's image is the outcome of entering and continuing to participate with the ongoing prayer of Jesus to the Father (Ro.8:27-29). God has chosen intercession with Christ to be the way we become changed into being like Him! So intercession will always be a primary component of Christ's priority for all believers.

This foundational truth does away with the idea that some can intercede while others cannot. It always waylays the idea of a gift or office of Intercessor.  Christ is THE intercessor. We can join in with Him by the Spirit, as led. It is the right, privilege and responsibility of ALL believers.

Such true intercessory function by the church will bring change. And it will transform all it addresses by the Spirit of God. But regardless of the impact made by entering into such prayer with Jesus, through the experience of Him and the desire of His heart, the Lord is releasing far more to us. As much as true intercession will restore, no truer statement can be made about intercession than this:  prayer changes us. (Romans 8:26-29)

As interceding with Christ transforms us by experiencing His heart and prayer to the Father, the resulting impartation of purpose also provides the power to expose and resist distraction. Meaning, even and perhaps especially the difference between a "good thing" vs. the "God thing". This means that as we lived with true focus whatever we experience will be the result of obedience, setting the order for redemptive work of God to work in each circumstance (Ro.8:28; 1Pe.4:15-16). That way, we are not only tuned to His heart and desire, but also confident in His triumph (Jn.16:33; 1 Jn.5:3-5).

Apostolic/Prophetic Intercession Empowers the Church

First however, we need revelation of His priorities. But these come as part and parcel of discovering His heart and desire. And that requires truly entering into the ongoing prayer of Jesus to the Father. Such Apostolic/Prophetic intercession will set the stage for all God wants the Church to move onto. This is much more than an indicator of God's desire for intercession from Christ's Apostles and Prophets. It actually defines the intercession which is to be made by them. The Lord is calling for His foundational ministers to reorient themselves to prayer. It is time for Apostles and Prophets to fulfill their call to enter into the secret place and pray with Christ as He prays to the Father.  (Acts 1:12-14; 3:1; 6:2; 1Thess.5:17)

When an impartation of intercession is activated within Christ's Apostles and Prophets, specifics of the overall eternal purpose of God are revealed (Acts 10:9-21). For the church to be truly apostolic and prophetic, this must be done by the Lord's Apostles and Prophets. When this takes place, the potential outcome is for the entire body of Christ to take on the very nature and power of Jesus, and begin to gather the spoils He has already won. With true foundational ministers Standing on and pouring from the mortar of His revelation, their mantle will then be spread over the body they have been set" over (1Cor.12:28). This spreading of the mantle onto the body is how we will be moved from what prevails today to what was mentioned earlier:  purchased by Christ's blood, we cannot ever be defeated by what opposes God (Col.1:27; Ro.8:28-39; Isa.54:15-17). Then the Church will rise up and take back what was surrendered in the Garden due to the human irresponsibility of sin.

By yielding God-given authority to the Devil, the enemy began to illegally influence the Earth, deceiving humanity by inciting disagreement with God. Still, Satan works this way. But God has set in motion a process of restoration that is continual and will not cease. In fact, it will be complete when Christ returns (Acts 3:18-21). If Apostles and Prophets will take this to heart and move accordingly, this recovery of God's original intention for humanity will advance like never before. And for those who intercede who are fully related to them, the advance will be relentless.

But in order for such restoration to authentically begin, Apostles and Prophets must rise to a new level of intimacy with Christ. That will place these foundational ministers into a new season, a radical transformation by being conformed to His image (Ro.8:29). At that time, these will receive revelation of His heart and desire in directing the Body. One with Christ, they will then impart the matured heart of God to the Church. Then, the whole building of Gods people can truly begin to become a holy temple in the Lord" (Eph. 2:19-21).
