When the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord raises up a standard against him. When he says that the fire we go through will burn us, we tell him to flee and say what is true! The fire of His love will purge out of us anything that is hindering us to conform into His image, to trust Him, to need Him, to not be complacent or independent, but most of all so that we would become "on fire" for Him. If it takes coming down to death's door to get us to really draw near to Him, He will use the enemy that way.
This is the day of great awakening among My people, for I have fore-warned them long enough of the pending judgment that is coming upon the land, but My people sit idly like if there is no tomorrow. They do not prepare themselves for the future, but they waste their time going on with the foolish empty gestures of wasting their time. I love My people, but I need to shake them to wake them to what is ahead.
This is Father's Day, and as I seek Him, this is what The Father says to me. The Father says: To meditate upon His Word. To break it down bite by bite in order to digest it. To bring forth the nutrients within it. To do His Will. We are to be like a deer that is panting after a water brook with such intensity as if we are dying to know Him and the purpose He has called us to fulfill — to know the burden of His heart for others and more for the lost.
When I seek the LORD, I try to seek His face and not His hand — I seek to know His will and to have His Presence. If you seek Him first and the needs of His Kingdom, all your own needs will be met, but some get out of balance with this and do things out of presumption instead of by His leading. Many put their ministry ahead of The LORD's and come at a loss. Other things creep in like lust for fame, fortune, and the pride of life, which brings a fall.
I treasure my quiet time with the Lord. It is the time I like to call my own before I start my day. This morning, I had a choice of things to do. I could read my Bible, or my bible study book, or read a book on healing. They all are very good things to begin with, but I really did not have a leading to do any of them. I sat back and felt to start writing. When you have many options as to what you should do, what do you do?
I love to meditate upon Psalm 91 especially the first verse. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. As I ask the Lord about the secret place, I write the following: It is a hiding place, a place where no one knows you are there except the Lord. Jesus is your hiding place, the place where you can run into and be safe. We are to abide in Him always. He is your safe and hidden place where the enemy cannot touch you without the Lord allowing it.
There is hope for the hopeless! Some people have great financial burdens and in the natural it looks impossible that anyone can help one with such a great need, but The LORD has shown me that if you follow the leading of The LORD, He will have you plant a seed. I've seen the fruit of doing this. The LORD had me plant a seed literally in my own life with my husband.
A Word of Comfort to those who might have entered a place of stagnant waters to bring you into the refreshing streams of God's Grace. "There comes a time in one's life where they become determined to cast all their cares upon Me and trust fully resting in My faithfulness to preserve their life. Casting all cares upon Me gives the strength needed to go on no matter what they face in their way.
What are we willing to pay for the price of unity in the church? Are we willing to truly deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow the Lord in dying out? What makes us think that it does not matter if we love one another or not? There are so many even in our own churches who walk past one another and act like we haven't even passed by a human being. If we are not careful, we can learn this same trait portrayed by those who are even in leadership. This should not be. How can the world know us by our love if we can't even be sensitive enough within our own congregations to greet one another? It does not have to be a hug or a holy kiss, but just an acknowledgment that there is someone that belongs to the same family right by us.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Nothing was made if it wasn't made by Him. He created life and put His light into it. The Light is the source of all life. He created all things by just speaking them into existence. Listen to the stars as they twinkle. What do they say besides there is a God that created Light, follow Him. He will lead and guide you into all Truth. Be like a child that has childlike faith. They believe and receive because they do not doubt.
