Today as I was praying the spirit of the Lord began to speak and show me a vision that we must pray into this season. I see churches throughout the world, some are small and yet many are large. Some were opening the doors to only a few, while others were overflowing with people. In the image there were no two alike, yet all were churches with people that thought they were in the right place and time.
There is one verse that you have heard many times, and maybe you have even used this verse to 'explain away' the situations that we cannot comprehend. As I pray today, I urge you to consider that just maybe we have looked at the verse improperly and caused our own walk to be void of the wisdom and power of God. Isaiah 55: 8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord..." Oh yes, the universal "I don't know, nor do I have to attempt to figure out the matter at hand" because I am not God. Sounds fair, yes?

Many times as we study the word of God, I believe that it would benefit us to slow down and meditate upon not only the passage, but even each word in the passage. If you need healing in your body today° If there has been sickness or disease in your body today° If a spirit of infirmity has taken residence in your flesh° then today is your day for a breakthrough! I invite you to read the following passage from the book of Romans, and as you read it allow the spirit of truth to manifest in your body for your healing.
Transformation is God's promise as we see in 2 Corinthians 3:18, yet there are areas where we often don't allow God to work.  Let's take a few moments and discover how God's care for you can manifest as you recognize the need for it and you allow it to manifest. If you're struggling to make changes in your life, it could be that you're not convinced a change is needed. Many of us are also great at avoiding change. It tends to be something we dread, rather than look forward to.
Will you allow it to unfold in your life? Yes, if you watch the news then you will see that we are living in some very prophetic times. We are witnessing and living among wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, and of course the pandemic. "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Allow me to explain the extraordinary way that the mind works and how wonderful God is in that creation.  Now, there are a number of reasons that the Lord speaks in the night during our rest, I am going to cover just one reason I believe he chose this method. When you are faced with any instruction or insight in the world, from a conscious place of awareness, your mind will often negate or distort the thought.  Negate means to remove the thought - to dismiss the thought.
Sir Winston Churchill is credited with first saying, "Never let a good crisis go to waste." He stated it in the mind-1940s as we approached the end of Word War II. Rahm Emanuel used this expression during the great recession of 2008. And we hear it often when areas of life are monetized or politicized. I was praying Friday morning during my daily activities, and as I began to pray in the spirit, I heard the voice of the spirit. "Son, you have heard it said, never let a good crisis go to waste."
This has definitely been a time of soul-searching, praying, and a lot of division among the body of Christ in this political season. Praying for our leaders is a command from the word of God, and praying for justice and righteousness to prevail in this election, and all political affairs, is surely wise.
Relationships have always been vital in the Kingdom of God, and they will always remain vital in the Kingdom of God. Yet, relationships are being perverted and ignored in the church body today. The spirit of God is moving upon the hearts of those who are willing to hear and to those who are willing to lay down their own desires of the flesh.
"They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us." 1 John 2:19 Division can come from God - for division reveals the true heart of man. When President Obama won the election for the 2nd time I was unsure of why, and felt that the leadership of Romney was going to lead the nation into a new direction.
