"… I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow." Jeremiah 31:13 NIV If you aren't familiar with Pentecost, it coincides with the Jewish festival of the Feast of Weeks that takes place 7 weeks after Passover and Resurrection Sunday. For Christians, it also commemorates when the Holy Spirit filled God's people in Acts 2. This is an important time on God's calendar and one of the special times during the year when the heavens are open, making it easier to hear the Lord and receive power from Heaven.
The Pentecost season is almost here. What an exciting time! If you aren't familiar with Pentecost, it coincides with the Jewish festival of Shavuot that takes place 50 days after Passover. For Christians, it also commemorates when the Holy Spirit filled God's people in Acts 2. This year, Shavuot begins on Thursday, May 28, and runs through Saturday, May 30; and Pentecost falls on Sunday, May 31. So, this is an important time on God's calendar and one of the special times during the year when the Heavens are open making it easier to hear the Lord. Pentecost will be a time of greater revelation and power flowing from Heaven.
Help is on the way! The Lord is moving powerfully on your behalf and is releasing new hope from Heaven. Watch for your strength and clarity to increase starting this month. "On the day when I act," says the Lord Almighty, "they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them °" Malachi 3:17 NIV As Passover and Easter ended, there has been more activity in the Courts of Heaven than I have seen in a long time. Satan's plans to keep people from meeting together backfired. Now the Lord is moving to bring healing, financial repayment and blessings.
First, my InLight Connection team and I want to say how deeply sad we are for all the losses and trouble people are going through. We're praying for you! The coronavirus is stirring fear in the air right now. Many people across the U.S and around the world are confined to their homes, and it's hard to see an end in sight. But better days are coming! Here's what you can do in the meantime. Set your expectations early that—no matter what kind of curveballs life throws your way—you're going to trust God and keep walking forward in faith.
I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. Hosea 2:15 NLT During April, we are walking through the Valley of Trouble. But there is a Door of Hope as we enter into May. I heard the Lord say, "I am going to turn this difficult time of the Valley of Trouble into a Doorway of Hope that is going to change things forever." In the midst of the difficult times we are going through, I want to impart a word of hope for what is ahead. The Covid-19 (or coronavirus) attack is a storm that is going to blow over soon. This is an attack against the coming moves of God and revival.
Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. Joel 2:23 NIV God is releasing a spiritual rain and outpouring into your personal life. I released a prophetic word in February 2020—God is Opening Wells of Refreshment. This will start in individuals and spread corporately. I want to give you more on this as it is starting to happen this month.
We have been under attack globally with the coronavirus. I have been waiting on the Lord and praying daily over this. On February 25, the Lord showed me the root of the attack and a prayer strategy to break it. "° When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." Isaiah 59:19 NKJV The global attack of the coronavirus is against the global outpouring that is coming to the Earth. Many of the prophets have been releasing prophetic words about a coming global move of God—revival. This is a direct attack against revival. "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV
This is a season of understanding your destiny and life purpose! But where do you even begin? I've often said that discovering your destiny is like working on a connect-the-dots drawing. When you look at the dots individually, you'll probably have trouble understanding the big picture. But when you connect the dots and step back—suddenly everything makes sense! Plus, God embeds hidden clues about your destiny into your daily life. Here are a few to look out for. All of us—yes, you—have been given a measure of talent. As a prophetic life coach, I've heard a lot of people say things like: "I'm not good at anything." Or, "I have no talent."
Get ready to come out of the dry time and the storm of 2019! How enriched are they who find their strength in the Lord; within their hearts are the highways of holiness! Even when their paths wind through the dark valley of tears, they dig deep to find a pleasant pool where others find only pain. He gives to them a brook of blessing filled from the rain of an outpouring. They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion. Psalm 84:5–7 TPT Welcome to a new season of a radical outpouring starting this month. The dark valleys of tears and uncertainty are coming to an end. God is bringing a new season of refreshment. As you step away from pain and disappointments, you will find a surprising refreshment spiritually, physically and mentally.
Can't figure out how to stop the flow of negative emotions? I have something that may help. I've been a prophetic life coach for many years, and one of the first habit changes I suggest for the people I coach is a very simple one: Flip it and flip it good! It's a way of encouraging people to look for the good in every situation, but it can be easier said than done. Here are a few practical examples of negative emotions you can flip for good starting today!
