It's not a surprise that with this global pandemic, we are seeing resistance throughout the nation as Americans watch the media's portrayals of patriots as being extreme. I was given a glimpse into the spirit behind this movement; some of it was good and some of it was not. But mostly, I saw righteous anger. I saw the strength of our forefathers emerge. I saw a reconnecting of patriotism. I saw fear, hurt, surprise and a fight. I was then reminded why my family came to the United States. Suddenly, a wind passed by me, and I knew the Spirit of the Almighty was near. I heard this from our Lord: "Be strong and of good courage, I have overcome the world." Then two Scriptures shot into my mind.
I was standing near the window in my kitchen thinking about this election. I often do this as I begin to pray.  I have no passion to endorse a candidate. Just to lift up Jesus over each one running. I was starting to pray when I heard the Lord.  I could feel his presence coming in strong and I felt tears in my eyes begging Him to come closer.  I was being moved to pray for our beloved nation. The Lord began to speak, "I love your love for this nation. I am calling you to speak out and be of good courage."  I began to break. I just wept.  Suddenly I saw an angel with a huge sword.
