What to Do?
 
Some do give up, but Kings don't. It's important to realize that Kingdom warfare is never about us alone – we can't take it personally, even though we are touched and wounded in very personal ways. We are all part of a much bigger battle and our captain is the Lord of Hosts. So, there is a way out! We do need perseverance, but the answer is not trying to outlast the devil. Our job is to defeat him. We can fight back and here's how.
 
The first practical step is intercession via the "courts of heaven." In other words, take your case to court! Notice the season when the saints are oppressed in Daniel 7:25. It is followed by a very significant phrase, "But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away." As Kings, we have the ability and responsibility to take our case to court and win it. In another sense, the devil has already made accusations and a case to withhold us from our destiny. Our job is to appear in court and get a verdict in our favor… to refute the enemy's legal case to hold us back. Our battles are won in the courts of heaven first and in the natural second.
 
He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Daniel 7:25-26 NIV
 
Courts of Heaven
 
We, and nations, have a book that contains our destiny (Ps 139:13-16). Kingdom is learning what's in that book, choosing it, fighting for it and inheriting our land. The warfare takes on an intercessory courtroom setting: the accuser of the brethren is the prosecuting attorney (Rev 12:10-11), the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy and our defense (Rev 19:10-11), and our Father is the judge. Enemy accusations usually have an ingredient of truth that must be put under the blood of Jesus' forgiveness by our repentance. Then we speak and enact what Jesus is saying about us (enforce the verdict). What is written in our book is so precious and exciting that we seek it first and give our lives for it!
 
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Rev 12:11 NIV
 
Antifragility
 
Life is full of events that are totally unpredictable. Kingdom warfare is exactly the same. You and I cannot properly estimate either the victories or the setbacks and tragedy that the path to our destiny has in store for us. We must persevere, but perseverance is not enough. We must rebound and heal from our battles, but recovery is not enough. When seasons are dry and desolate we must be refreshed, but revival is not enough. We cannot be fragile people that are glued back together every time we break in a thousand pieces. Antifragility is a term for people who are strengthened by fire. There is a place where we get stronger in warfare and setbacks, instead of weaker. The persecuted church historically has always gotten stronger. You and I have seen people resurrect from failure to new levels of promotion and prosperity. Every time we lose, we multiply!!!
 
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. John 12:24-26 NASU
 
The first step is to realize that you and I will lose occasionally (fact of life). But our expectation is that the exact point of loss is the birthplace of our multiplication. We can expect it! Almost be thankful for it!
 
The second step is to realize how and where this multiplication happens… When we are with Jesus! Hear this, "he must follow me; and where I am, there My servant will be also." The deeper the disaster, the deeper I am in Christ. Nothing can separate me from His love… or His multiplication on my life. We are not just overcomers, we are more than conquerors. We multiply in every disappointment, in every setback, in every death and in every delay. We expect to. We know how to make it happen.
 
It's interesting that more than conquerors, immeasurably more, and running over are all related in the Greek.
 
Christ Jesus, who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:34-38 NIV
 
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20 NIV
 
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Luke 6:38
 
Right now, is exactly the time to understand the destiny that has been written in our book and in the desires of our heart. Right now, is exactly the time to take our personal case into the courts of heaven and get a verdict. Don't wait, don't complain, don't persevere, don't even pray (if it's that whiny, poor me, Christmas list of wishes). Take your case to the court heaven and win it and then do it. It's also exactly the right time to take the case for our nation to the court of heaven and win it.
