As we enter the new year of 2023, we must remember the power and purpose God has given each one of us to impact the earth today for His kingdom. He has given us all we need as children of the inheritance to step into His glorious power and bring change to the earth in His name. The only thing holding us back is our lack of faith and belief in who we are as children of the Most High God.
Daily, I see people cowering from the enemy as he continues to perpetrate his lies in the earth and cause us to come into submission to an antichrist spirit of global elitism. It is not God’s desire that His people become subject to such forces but that they instead call on the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to bring forth change in the earth today.
When the Hebrew calendar turned over to the Head of the Year 5783 on Sept. 25, 2022, the Holy Spirit ushered in our appointed prophetic time as citizens of heaven to speak forth the resurrection power of Jesus Christ as King in the earth. I heard the Lord say during that new month of Tishrei to “Declare and decree My resurrection power this year!”
The numeral 80 is peh in Hebrew, and the numeral 3 represents His resurrection power and the Trinity. We are called as the children of the inheritance to minister in unity His overcoming resurrection power, to roar with our mouths His dunamis. This power (from the Greek word that means “dynamite”) is the miracle-working power that not only raised Jesus from the dead but causes our mortal bodies to have strength to speak and act on truth in today’s weary world.
Arise and Shine
God calls us to send forth a sound that is the roar of His authority, of His resurrection power in the earth. This means we, His chosen ones, are to declare that sin, death and the grave have been overcome. We are not to be quiet about it but to roar by the Holy Spirit these truths in the earth. We are called not to cower in defeat but to know that the enemies He calls us to overcome are defeated foes.
We are already victorious by the blood of Jesus, and He has returned to us our land, redeemed us and saved us by His blood. Our job now is to declare and decree with our mouths and stand by faith on these truths as we make decisions for our homes, city, states, nations, governments, and the people of the world.
We are called to be the world changers and history makers, but this demonic foe we battle falsely accuses the brethren and tries to silence our voices from proclaiming these truths. The enemy does this every day, but now, his repeated taunts are moving the children of the inheritance to rise in belief and to speak and stand.
The devil is a liar, and we must stand firm and speak against him. Only then will we see all heaven come into alignment with the words we speak and the faith we wield. Only then will the glory of the Lord be released in magnitude in the earth today.
This year, God is calling out His children to arise and shine. Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV) reads, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
Who, then, is called to arise and declare and decree but we, the ones saved by Messiah Yeshua, who must be ready now to share His kingship in the earth? It is not a time to be silent but a time to speak. We are to know the times and seasons, and God is saying, “I am with you, and when you speak, you will see mountains move.” It is not a time to let the fearmongers rule the earth, but rather, those who live by faith, those who live and breathe and have their being in Him.
As the apostle Paul so clearly said in Acts 17:28-32, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, ‘We will hear thee again of this matter.’”
Stand in Faith
The resurrection power of Jesus Christ is key in our revolution of releasing a roar in 2023. When we understand the power of the resurrection as ministered by the apostle Paul, we know it is not about not allowing ourselves to be overcome by weakness. Instead, it is about knowing that in our weakness, His power is made perfect (2 Cor. 12:9-10).
This power is His dunamis, His miracle-working power. As we learn to enter His rest by faith, as the author of Hebrews shared, “Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” (Heb. 4:1-2).
We must stand in faith—as a camp of lions and lionesses—and roar in 2023 so our sound becomes weightier than the sound of the earth. Then we will see those who think they have power overturned by the One who has the real power: our resurrected Jesus Christ.
Let us be like the apostle Paul, who said, “Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong” (2 Cor. 12:9b-10).
When you feel weak and vulnerable, don’t despise your weakness, but instead recognize it as an avenue for the dunamis power of God to come forth. When we exercise our faith, the apostle Paul tells us we have entered rest in the resurrection power of Jesus, which will open heavenly portals filled with all we need for His glory to pour into the earth.
In this very rest, God promises His dunamis will come forth and release a roar that will shake the nations.
In 2023, let us rest more, release more and roar more, and our faith will overturn the earth and all the confines of its mortal systems of government, media, education, business, religion, family, arts and entertainment. Stand in faith, and as we rest in Him, God says, “I will do the rest and bring forth change in the earth.”
