The following is something I wrote and posted almost two years ago. To this day it is still one of the most read posts I have ever written. I felt to share it with you again today. This is a season of transitioning, change, re-alignment and turning tides!
The Tides are Turning
Psalms 118:15-16 Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! "The hand of God has turned the tide! 16 The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!"
As I was driving to work today I heard the Lord speak these words to me, "The tides are turning." Any time that phrase is used it means a change in direction or a change in the way things are going. I believe we are now in the season of turning tides.
You may be in a season of things not going in the direction you'd like them to go or things just not going in your favor but I believe the Lord gave me this word for you, the tides are turning! It is time to step into your destiny, it is time for promises to be fulfilled, and it is time for things to begin working in your favor, on your behalf.
If this speaks to you, I want you to print this passage and put it somewhere in your house because it's going to be your victory Scripture before this year is over. You will be declaring; "Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! The hand of God has turned the tide! The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!" The key in this Scripture is the phrase, "the hand of God." He's going to do it, all it's going to take is His hand on your situation and defeat will turn to victory, sadness to joy, mourning to dancing, and bondage to freedom. The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!

Last Thursday evening as I was driving home from work at 1:30 a.m., I prayed aloud, asking Father God had He forgotten me. Like many, I have been in the most intense warfare ... computer stopped working, attacked in finances, no response to the applications I've submitted for a better paying job. I kept reminding Father of His promises, that He keeps His Word. That He said He would do the impossible on my behalf - HE is the one who gives me power to get wealth, He supplies my every need according to His riches and Glory. I prayed He show Himself mighty on behalf of His people, to deliver us. I came home and read this. I have been seeing 14:14, 14 means Release, Deliverance, and He led me to Exodus 14:14, The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. I have been seeing 15:15 - 15 means New Direction. 15th time Naomi's name is mentioned in Ruth 3:1, she sends Ruth a New Direction, where it is wellwith Ruth and she finds rest.
"Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people." (Proverbs 22:29, NLT) "Observe people who are good at their work — skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don't take a back seat to anyone." (Proverbs 22:29, The Message) I believe that we are called, as followers of Christ, not to take a back seat to anyone but to rise to the top and "serve kings." You may not literally serve a king, but it gives the picture of someone who is of importance. Whether you work in business or ministry, or both, you also need people around you that can help you with your vision.
Procrastination is something that we all deal with from time to time. Some may deal with it more than others. For some it may be almost a way of life where others may only deal with it periodically. Either way, procrastination can hold up our progress and delay success. So, how do we shift from procrastination to acceleration? It starts by understanding the meaning behind these two words as well as the root of what causes procrastination. Once we know that, we can develop a plan for our own lives that moves us from a mode of procrastination to a mode of acceleration.
In my last post I talked about balance and today I want to talk about structure, and the importance of it. As I mentioned in my last post, my writings are taking a slight shift. I want you to begin to see how you can take the things that we learn in the spiritual realm, the talents and gifts that God gives us, and apply them to our natural world. How can we take these things and use what God has given us to be successful in our everyday natural world? Being structured is key to finding and keeping balance in your life. You're working in business, yet you have a call for ministry, like me, and you must balance those two parts of your life. You're called to have your feet in both worlds. Defining a structure will help you to do this and be successful.
