"In your presence is fullness of joy..." (Psalms 16:11b)I want to tell you a secret you may never have heard before. There's a special place you can go that's so sweet and more real than mere words could ever express — a place that will cause you to raise your hands and fall to your knees, where you can't help but weep with great joy. In this special place you can bask in God's love and lie before His feet for hours on end. It's here where He draws near to you and imparts spirit and life into the dark, empty places inside you. It's a rare place where the very fire of heaven is released to work deep in the recesses of your soul.
In His presence you behold Him in His beauty. His face shines upon you and you see Him as He really is, a Father so in love with His precious child that He desires to do a miraculous healing work inside you.
"And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth." (1 Samuel 3:10)
Did you get that? And the Lord came, and stood! Think about it! The Lord came and stood near Samuel and called him by name! Did you know, dear one, that the Lord wants to come and stand beside you? He wants to reveal himself to you in a profound way through the presence of the Holy Spirit. I wish I could communicate with words what I am feeling as I write this. To think that the LORD HIMSELF would come and stand right beside me and call my name! That stunning revelation truly melts my heart!
"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" (Psalms 8:4)
He's Always Thinking About You
You are always on His mind. In fact, He wants nothing more than to come and visit you heart to heart in the person of His gentle Holy Spirit — in that place where time means nothing and nothing else matters. In that special place healing water flows and deep wounds are healed.
Perhaps you're carrying deep wounds, so deep no man could ever heal them, or maybe you're desperate for deliverance. You need bondages to break and chains to be shattered by the power of the Spirit. Or perhaps you have soul ties that only God can break once and for all. His healing presence is the place of release and freedom, where you fall at His feet and He comes to stand beside you.
Once I went through a really dry season that had me really discouraged. I was even questioning my calling. I felt the prophetic voice inside of me was being silenced and knew the Devil was responsible. He did not want the people to hear the message of intimacy. Satan knew that if people really caught this message it would bring a powerful visitation of the Spirit of God and they would never be the same. It was clear that Satan would rather keep people in religious bondage. Every time I turned around I could feel the enemy doing his best to silence me and it broke my heart.
The Secret Place
One day I was driving my vehicle down the road, late for an appointment. Yet I felt the Spirit of God stirring inside of me. I knew He wanted to meet with me so I obeyed, parking my car near a park where I got out to walk across the grounds. As soon as I sat by a tree and placed my hood over my face, His presence came upon me so strongly that I could not contain my emotions. As I broke down in tears I literally felt the Lord come to stand beside me. I could not see Him with my natural eyes, but I knew He stood to my right. For some time I could not move because His presence was upon me so powerfully that I couldn't stop weeping. After a time I decided I needed privacy so I returned to my SUV and lay face forward on the back seat where His presence continued to be poured out in me. I knew He had come to let me know He was with me, that He had a plan for my life, and that somehow in His time He would provide a platform for the words He had spoken into my heart. That encounter helped me through some rough days ahead. That healing presence touched me deep in my spirit and gave me life to live another day.
There is a secret place where God's heart is overflowing with compassion for His weary, broken ones, eager to heal shattered lives and restore the things we lost. All He asks is that we come and ask. He never says no, for His greatest desire is to reach out and touch those broken places. In His healing presence we discover the fullness of joy, and are made whole, with brand new hope and a future we can't even imagine. Embrace the secret place, dear one, and be made whole!
LORD, come and stand right beside me and call my name. I give you my ears that I may listen to what is in your heart. I thank you for the secret place that is overflowing with compassion for me. I thank you that the weary and broken ones can find healing through your manifest presence. You are eager to heal shattered lives and restore all.
Dear One I Sense this Prophetic Word for You this Month:
"It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life." (John 6:63, AMP)
Don't you know how much I want to quicken your spirit with My power? I know you feel weak and are tempted to give up. But don't throw in the towel because, if you let me, I will touch you deep in your spirit and awaken you again. I am the Life-giver, and I have the power to make you live again.
You can no longer feel that life-giving power flowing through you, because you've become increasingly weak from the fight. You feel like a field of burned grass that has been far too long without water. But take heart, because I will breathe on you and awaken your spirit with My mighty power, quickening you so you will once again resemble lush and fertile green grass.
I will impart truth to you — a divine revelation of me — for even as a flower unfolds its petals so will My quickening words unfold truth to you and you will flourish. I am the life-giver.
I am drawing you unto myself even as I said in my Word in John 12:32-33, NKJV: "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself."
You are Being Awakened
I will awaken your heart and soul as you give Me full control of your life. I will breathe into your spirit a new sense of desperation and hunger for no one and nothing but Me. Cry out to Me, My child, and I will open your eyes so you can see Me dwelling in you ... so that you can sense My life-changing presence.
I will inspire you, making you come alive. I will invigorate and stir you. I will transform you and stimulate you to greater faith. I will energize you and excite you in My quickening healing presence!
I am awakening you to discern new realms of my spirit, pouring out my glory on you afresh. Just as you sit in a sunny window to let the sun warm you when you're cold, so my spirit will warm and comfort you with my life-giving presence. You will bask in my glory, as spirit and life begin to fill, heal and restore you, and you will never be the same again, because all things have suddenly become new!
