I see Ezekiel 37 as a pattern for today's move of God. There are certain aspects which God does to highlight how He operates and what our part is. Can these bones live? God is asking for our heart in the matter of our current state: dry and dead. God wants our participation in the move of God, which means the belief that it is up to God and His will is error. God's Word creates life and movement wherever and whenever it is declared. God wants us to work with Him in this new move. This declaration is an outflow of the work of God in us as a result of a new approach to prayer.

I see Ezekiel 37 as a pattern for today's move of God. There are certain aspects which God does to highlight how He operates and what our part is.
Can these bones live? God is asking for our heart in the matter of our current state: dry and dead.
Prophesy
God wants our participation in the move of God, which means the belief that it is up to God and His will is error. God's Word creates life and movement wherever and whenever it is declared. God wants us to work with Him in this new move. This declaration is an outflow of the work of God in us as a result of a new approach to prayer.
The rattling and joining of bones: the Lord puts people of their own kind and heart together. Prime example can be found in Luke 2 when Anna meets Jesus as a baby and recognizes Him. She spreads the news among those who had a expectation in their heart for the "Consolation of Israel." God starts bringing people together to pray and prophesy. It is important that the prophetic has a role in every move of God.
Sinews
God creates networking and connections to cause the whole structure to stand up and resemble a Body. God does this through relational ministry. God has matured us beyond the fascination with gifts and Offices. Now we see that relationship connections causes the Body of Christ to resemble a being.
Winds from 4 corners: these were not yet living. The prophet had to call for the winds. In Revelation 22 we read the unified cry and call for the Bride and the Spirit made together which changes the whole of creation. We need to call for the Spirit. We have focused on other things but the life of the Spirit must enter this collection of standing beings. They are standing because they have been lifted from death and dryness. We need to believe; to prophesy and to finally call for the Lord to move in 4 heavenly winds.
They bring:
-
A New Heart
-
A New Mind
-
A New Body
-
A New Purpose
We need to recognize that this is a pattern and process to a revival, which we must follow. I believe this new move will raise up the hearts of pioneers who will believe that the dead congregations can live again. To prophesy and to call forth respecting the processes God sets in motion.
This new move of God must start by us recognizing despite access to gifts and ministries that as a collective we are still dry. There are still bones scattered in lack of unity and isolation. We must impart to the leaderships that relational ministry teams is the way forward. Then once we preach a Word full of Revelation we will cause each "skeleton" to stand. Then we call forth the winds.
My view is that we are seeing the bones coming together again.

Revelation 1 gives us an insight into this reality. When you consider the persecutions of the first apostles you see that what is happening today is not so developed in a concerted effort to persecute the Church, I think we are on the threshold of an end time persecution which shall fill the "cup of iniquity" of the whole world. This shall be pivotal for the end. This series which I started just after the new year has the motivation of preparing the saints for what is coming. What is coming can only be walked through when we are duly prepared in the Word and the Spirit.

Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Matthew 11:2 This chapter is so interesting when you examine the processes that John the Baptist was going through in prison, when he sent messengers to Jesus. This question in the title of this message means something has changed with John in his perception of Jesus, and his expectation of the Messiah. When you research how John recognizes Jesus, as the Messiah you have to go to John 1, to see what God said and revealed to him in the wilderness.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Isaiah 40:3 KJV The call of John into the wilderness is a demarcation in forsaking family duty, what is expected and what the Law determines. John is the son of a priest. As sons, it is predetermined that they follow the course. The Scripture in Isaiah 40 represents some unheard of movement of the Lord. It represents an apparent break with conformity for the objective of bringing about the greatest prophetic task ever undertaken until Jesus.
