Do We Want The Sum of 'Someday' or TODAY's DOUBLE BLESSING?

While getting out of my van, I was talking to the Lord about something, and I sighed and said, "Oh well. Someday."
 
"Someday?" He asked. "When is that? I know I made Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. But when is someday?"
 
"I guess it's the eighth day - you know - eight is for new beginnings," I joked.
 
"There is no such day as 'Someday,'" He replied. "It is a fantasy. So the sum of 'Someday' is zero! Put your hopes and energy into TODAY! - Remember Heb. 3:15, and Today as you hear My Voice, don't harden your heart. Put your energy into TODAY, not a fantasy 'Someday' - but TODAY, so that you may ENTER into YOUR Promised Land!"
 
(11) "For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' (13) Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' (14) But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may DO it!" (Deut. 30:11-14)
 
(13) Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; (14) whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. ....(17) Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (James 4:13, 14, 17)
 
"Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion." (Heb. 3:15)
 
(13) "...Exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. (14) For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end." (Heb. 3:13-14)
 
The Lord is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever...and He is saying to us: "Do you want the sum of 'Someday' (zero) or the double restoration of TODAY?"
 
"Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even TODAY I declare That I will restore DOUBLE to you!"  (Zech. 9:12)
 
PRAYER: Lord, Forgive us for tossing your promises into 'Someday' - a day that doesn't even exist! - And then blaming you that the result was 'zero!' - Help us to remember that You are true to Your Word - The God of "Yes and Amen," and the God of TODAY's double restoration! Thank you, Lord! Amen!
