DO YOU FEEL LIKE QUITTING? READ THIS!

Sometimes it seems like there is a "theme" of "attack" that is launched at the Body of Christ, across the earth. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to in just this past week who have been under an attack of the enemy that has been so strong, all they want to do it "quit." Even though they aren't quite sure what that might mean!

"Quitting" isn't an option for most of us. There are people all around us who are depending on us. But even more, the Lord has made us "for such a time as this." If we "quit" and do not walk in what we are called to, what purpose will there be to our life?

One thing that I've learned over the years is that, if you let anything START stopping you, it will never STOP stopping you. You see, once the enemy knows the button to push to stop you in your tracks, he will cotinue to push it. - Finances, health, family, whatever.

Esther was told, "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14)

One thing I've learned is that, when we are in the midst of a battle, we are on our way to victory. We cannot loose with the God of all creation on our side! It doesn't matter what others think "victory" means.

Rom. 8:28 says, "He will work all things together for our good." How true this is! I look back over my life, and even at the various relationships I've been in and out of. When I was a much younger single mother, there was a guy I honestly thought I'd marry. We had a wonderful relationship in the Lord and with each other for about two and a half years. When it came to the end, I thought I'd die. I cried for two years. But now when I look back, I realize that I'd never have stepped into the ministry I'm doing today if that relationship would have worked out. I would have been too busy tending to him and the other children that would have come along. God truly did have a better plan, even though I couldn't imagine it at the time! Looking back, I would never want to give up what I'm doing now for that. God knew what He was doing. Imagine that!

There is a purpose for which you have come to the Kingdom in this time. If you "quit," God may find someone else to "do it," but why would we give up in the midst of victory? Truly, even if we are in the midst of our greatest battle, we are on the way to our greatest victory.

Look at what Joshua was told:

(6) Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. (7) Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. (8) And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." (Deut. 31: 6-7)

I love that! "YOU SHALL CAUSE THEM TO INHERIT IT!" - WOW! - There are those in your life that the Lord is sending you to who you (in the power and might of the Lord) shall cause to inherit THEIR promised land as well! - And in the process of it, YOU will inherit YOURS too!

Don't be dismayed! God has NOT forgotten you! He is not "out of town" or "out of hearing range." He is totally up to date and on time. He just isn't concerned with doing things on OUR schedule, because He knows EVERYTHING, including the exact right time to bring us into our inheritance.

Let's not waste time murmuring and complaining. Let's fill that time slot in with proclaiming and declaring and thanking God in advance for our victory! Amen!
