A Dream of White Horses

I recently had a dream that I was flying in an airplane into Charlotte, NC. As I arrived, My Heavenly Father met me with a vehicle. He said, "Hurry! Get in! The white horses have arrived!" When He said that, my thoughts immediately went to the Royal Lipizzan horses who are so well trained that with a mere nudge from their rider, they immediately go in the right direction. (The Disney movie "Miracle of the White Stallions" even featured them.) In this dream, Charlotte was a port city and the ocean came all the way to the airport. I got into the vehicle and we headed for the water's edge.

There were several large, very healthy white horses frolicking in the water, and my attention was drawn to a pair there. The male horse was trying to get the female horse out of the water and turn her around with her back against a brick wall there. The female horse had enough, and took a firm stance with her back to the water and backed further in. I could hear what she was conveying to the male horse, "Don't try to back me up against a wall, because I'll just go in deeper."

I was startled when I finally realized that my Father then drove us down along the shore, where the foam of the waves were at. I said, "No! We'll drown!" He laughed at me and said, "Now Joni, you know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you!" I realized that was true, but also knew that the water would come into the vehicle if we drove through it, and I told Him so! But He still drove on! I said to the Lord, "The water is up to my ankles! Hey, the water is up to my knees! Oh my! Now the water is up to my waist!"

I suddenly awoke, and the Lord spoke in an audible voice in my spirit and said, "Ezekiel 47."

I realized then that the Lord was saying that we, as the Church, are at a point in the Ezekiel 47 river--of it being up to our waist. We are further along than we have been in striving for holiness and even in the area of healing. However, He is encouraging us to not be content nor to be bullied by fear of man, but to allow the situations that occur to cause us to go in deeper!

I also believe the Lord was saying that women who've had a fear of men will be healed of that thing and it will no longer thwart them from what the Lord has called them to do, but rather, they will go deeper.

Charlotte, NC, is at the very top of the "heart" shaped state of South Carolina, and the very bottom of North Carolina. It is truly "in the heart of" the Carolinas and nowhere near the ocean! But it is truly a "port city" for many ministries and in the heart of the Bible belt as well. The city of Charlotte is also known as the "Queen City." In this, I believe the Lord is calling many "Queen Esthers" forth in the Carolinas "for such a time as this."

I believe the Lord likens the Body of Christ to the white horses. Truly He is calling us to ride with Him and to do so in purity.

Confirming Horse Stories

STREET SENSE: On May 5th of this year, a horse by the name of "Street Sense" won the Kentucky Derby. In this, the Lord said that He is bringing forth the "Sons of Thunder" anointing through those who have had "street sense" and have been as wild horses in the streets. Some would frown upon them and disregard them, but the Lord says that they are HIS prized ones, brought forth for such a time as this!

RAGS TO RICHES: On June 9th of this year, the first filly (female horse) in 102 years, won the Belmont Stakes horse race and was a lady named "Rags to Riches." Through that, I felt the Lord saying that it was a sign that He is bringing forth many women as female "Josephs" and "Daniels" to carry Kingdom Finances in this time as well. They will start businesses, bring forth inventions and even hold positions of authority in government that have not been held by women since the days of Queen Charlotte.

HORSE SCRIPTURES: The Bible often speaks of horses and the following Scriptures came to me when preparing this article:

"Harness the horses, and mount up, you horsemen! Stand forth with your helmets, polish the spears, put on the armor!" Jeremiah 46:4

"...For the day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand...A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been...Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; and like swift steeds, so they run...The Lord gives voice before His army, for His camp is very great; for strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; who can endure it?" Joel 2

"In that day 'HOLINESS TO THE LORD' shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar." Zechariah 14:20

"Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS." Revelation 19:11-16

PRAYER: Father, we thank You that You are taking us into new depths in Your Ezekiel 47 river. We also thank You that You are training us to be as adept (or more so) than the royal lipizzan horses! Lord, so much so that the very nudge of Your knee or Your glance in our direction, will cause us to understand what You want us to do and we will do it. We are Yours, Lord. Have Your way in and through us! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Things Are Not As They Seem

I recently had another very vivid experience as I was driving down the road. The presence of the Lord came into the van and I heard, "Things are NOT as they seem."

"How so, Lord?" I asked. He said, "Although many feel as though I am standing still, I am doing MUCH behind the scenes where it cannot be seen. So tell My People to stop accusing Me of not properly doing My job and in doing so, they risk missing out on their Promised Land due to their murmuring and complaining."

He went on to take me into the faith chapter Hebrews 11. In verse 1 it says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." In verse 3 it says, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."

He emphasized by repeating the last part of verse three to me three times:

"The things which are seen were NOT made of things which are visible.
The things which are seen were NOT made of things which are visible.
The things which are seen were NOT made of things which are visible."

And then He said, "So, why then, do you expect to be able to SEE what I'm doing before it is time to be seen? Even when I made this world, I simply SPOKE and IT WAS SO. I do not need to work with things that you can SEE and in your time schedule for what I'm doing to be made manifest."

"Be still, and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10. He went on to say, "I am accomplishing MUCH that you cannot see yet, but will soon be made manifest. Meanwhile, do not accuse Me of improperly doing My job."

He reminded me of a similar rebuke in Malachi 3:13-18, "'Your words have been harsh against Me,' says the Lord, Yet you say, "What have we spoken against You?" You have said, "It is useless to serve God; what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of hosts? So now we call the proud blessed, for those who do wickedness are raised up; they even tempt God and go free.'

Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. 'They shall be Mine,' says the Lord of hosts, 'On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.'"

During this experience, He let it be known that we are about to enter into a series of many "suddenlies."--occurrences of many manifested answers to prayers.

God is still God, and we are not to be concerned about those who have seemingly "gotten away with evil," for their "day" is coming. In that, He led me to Psalm 37 (read verses 1-13 in particular).

And so, if we have spoken harshly against the Lord because we have gotten strained by the stresses of life, let's just repent through the Scripture prayer below and trust God, knowing that He IS God and He IS doing His job right!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, forgive us for speaking harshly of You, and help us in our weakness. Help us guard what we speak and we pray as the psalmist David, "Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer" Psalm 19:14. Thank you for being a good God and a God of integrity who keeps Your promises! We pray this in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus. Amen.
