"O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely." (Song 2:14, KJV)
Let us begin our journey toward His "chambers." The Lord has prepared stairs for those who hunger to climb higher into His presence. Our quest for intimacy can begin today as we seek the satisfaction we long for, and for which we were created. He stands bidding us to be partakers of His holy presence. He is calling those who want to move past the holy place through the veil into the "Holy of Holies." He is calling us upward toward personal intimacy and into a new realm of glory.
A deep longing is being birthed in the heart of His Bride for divine encounters of the God kind. Not just a self-serving desire for His hand, but an earnest seeking of His face alone. He is placing an intense spiritual hunger and desire for Him as He reveals the secret entrance to the stairway. It is there we can meet with Him alone. His Bride will not stop until she has His heart. These stairs contain greater levels of the atmosphere of heaven; they are a direct link between heaven and earth. With each step the level of intimacy increases. When we travel upward there's no turning back. We are transformed forever by His love.
A Prayer of Hunger
"I climb up the stairs of intimacy one step at a time. I long to dwell with you in your presence. I hear you calling me upward and I do not hesitate. Take me, dear Jesus--I am yours. I abandon my old ways that do not please you and embrace you, my sweet Savior."
"The king has brought me into his chambers." (Song 1:4b)
Can we experience the same atmosphere as that in the throne room? Does God desire for His "manifest presence" to cover this earth? Yes! Yes! Yes! He is pouring out His Spirit upon the spiritually hungry and the spiritually discontented. He is calling us upward to the throne. (See Rev. 4.) He desires that we seek Him wholeheartedly. Many today are already ascending these stairs into a greater realm of intimacy.
There are deeper dimensions in God (see John 14:2) we have not yet entered. Places in the spirit we still have not seen. These stairs lead into greater glory for those who desire the deeper realms of the spirit. They lead to His intimate chambers. The atmosphere of heaven is being granted to those who have fully committed to loving Him.
"I love them that love me. Those that search for me will surely find me." (Prov. 8:17, NLT)
It is in this place where divine mysteries are revealed, and Kingdom revelation is imparted into the lives of those who hunger for deeper levels of intimacy. God's secrets are whispered into the inner ears of His bride as she walks up the secret stairs with Him.
"But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his Spirit, and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's deep secrets." (1 Cor. 2:10, NLT)
We're living in the end times when God promised to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Open heavens of His glory will be poured upon His Bride once again. The moving of His Spirit will refresh her. The Bride will receive her revival as she climbs higher. She will long for Him.
A Prayer of Hunger
"Reveal your heart to me, dear One. I will get close enough to hear you whisper my name. I lean upon you and hear your heart and I am overwhelmed by your tender love and mercy."
"...and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God's deep secrets." (1 (1 Cor. 2:10)
Entire groups of hungry 'lovers of God' will experience the "secret of the stairs." The heavens open over their meetings corporately moving them upward. As the church seeks intimacy first, signs and wonders, healings, miracles, and deliverances will take place. A deluge of His Spirit will be the outcome. How can anything stand tall when His majesty is revealed? When God opens the spout where the glory comes out, death will bow the knee to the King of kings. God is expanding the depth of glory in the lives of His people.
During this time God will do a fresh, new thing. Some will misunderstand; others will embrace this new thing. In the last days entire congregations will see healing. I see creative miracles happening as the cloud of His glory increases one step at a time. Demons will tremble, as the church is infused with the flames of His Spirit. Children will manifest creative arts and be entrusted with secrets from the throne room. That which has been shut up in the heavens will be released. Divine truth will be unsealed while the atmosphere of heaven will flow freely upon us.
Now is the time, and the hour is late, so prepare for the Kingdom Age, and get ready for deeper dimensions in God. The season is "now". The stairway is open enabling us to climb higher into a new level of intimacy. "Stairs" provide a means of ascent toward Him, one level at a time. This stairway, and the secret entrance to it, is hidden to all, except as the Lord makes the way known only to those who hunger for more. The stairs lead to His chambers and will become increasingly visible and accessible to those who desire His glory. He will reveal the way to those who seek first His kingdom and lean upon His breast as a friend to hear His whispers.
A Final Prayer
Thank you, Father, for you have illuminated the pathway to your secret stairs. As I take my first step upward into the hidden corridors of the deeper realms of intimacy, You take my hand and gently guide me upward. Thank you for leading me and guiding me upward in my walk with you.
