In today's world I could tell someone that I'm a blue monkey, and they would probably agree with me. They would likely respond with something like, "Whatever your truth is, I accept and affirm it." That is absolute nonsense. Most people are agreeing with this type of absurdity because they fear appearing judgmental, or they believe they are exhibiting acceptance and compassion. But affirming someone who is confused or deceived is not compassionate. It's cowardly and selfish. Truth is not subjective. Truth is not an opinion, and truth is not a feeling. In John 14:6 (NKJV), Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me."

In today’s world I could tell someone that I’m a blue monkey, and they would probably agree with me. They would likely respond with something like, “Whatever your truth is, I accept and affirm it.” That is absolute nonsense.
Most people are agreeing with this type of absurdity because they fear appearing judgmental, or they believe they are exhibiting acceptance and compassion. But affirming someone who is confused or deceived is not compassionate. It’s cowardly and selfish.
Truth is not subjective. Truth is not an opinion, and truth is not a feeling. In John 14:6 (NKJV), Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me.” Jesus just said He is the truth. The definition of truth means “that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality.” It also means “the quality or state of being true.” When someone affirms another person’s confusion, they give validity to a feeling or opinion that is keeping that person in darkness and confusion.
If you are struggling with this kind of emotional confusion, you must reject the deceptive voices that claim to agree with you.
You must turn your whole heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Sincerely come to Him and ask for His help. God will guide you into what is good and right for you if you’re willing to turn from your ways, turn from sin and surrender your life to Him. This only happens when we place our faith in Jesus Christ alone to save us. His sinless blood was shed to wash us clean from every sin, every mistake, and every failure.
In John 8:31-32, Jesus said, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Knowing the truth brings freedom.
You’ll never experience real peace and freedom as long as you push the truth away. You will remain confused and lost, eventually becoming hopeless. You may experience fleeting periods of so-called happiness, but those feelings will be short-lived. You may even put on the facade of a carefree life, but inside you will be empty, hurting, and full of despair.
Only Jesus Christ loved you enough to suffer a horrible death on the cross and pay for all your sin. Every single person is born in sin and continues to sin throughout his or her life. Sin separates us from God. Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead, conquering death, hell, and the grave. He came to save that which was lost. He came to save your life, not destroy your life. Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came to give you life more abundantly. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can give you real peace, comfort, help, freedom, and hope.
Have you been confused by Satan’s lies? Jesus warned us in John 8:34, saying, “Most assuredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” The world says you are free when you do whatever feels good, but the reality is, you become a slave to your sin. Jesus said of Himself, “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36).

God's will does not automatically happen in the life of a Christian. All believers are in a real war. The Bible tells us we will have trials and encounter spiritual warfare in this lifetime. So how do we come through the difficulties we all face? Jesus said in John 16:33 (NKJV), "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." And 1 Corinthians 15:57 says, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Jesus has already provided us with the victory. We must learn to walk in it.

Christian and secular historians verify that Jesus Christ lived, was crucified, died, and rose from the dead. During His ministry, Jesus also made some very bold claims, calling Himself the Son of God. We know for certain that His statements were true because His words have come to pass. If He were just another religious teacher, His statements would only prove today that He was arrogant and foolish. Instead, they prove He is the risen Savior.

My wife, Annette, and I personally witnessed a horrible hurricane in Florida. It destroyed homes, property, infrastructure and most tragically of all, it killed many people. Insurance companies call such events "acts of God," but Jesus told us who is ultimately behind such destruction. John 10:10 (NKJV) states, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Living in a fallen, sin-filled world also produces disaster and damage because the earth rebels against sin, and evil people cause destruction.
