With today's medical technology, when a woman is pregnant, she can have an ultrasound to find out if she is having a boy or a girl. Some women choose NOT to KNOW, because they want to be surprised when their child is born. During this very, very long "spiritual" gestation period, many of us would have LOVED to have KNOWN what we were pregnant with. Like in a natural pregnancy, we walked around with "morning sickness and strange cravings," disturbed by things that use to be so normal. Spiritually Pregnant
If you are like me, it took a while to figure out that I was NOT crazy, but "spiritually pregnant" with something so incredible and totally indescribable. Only those in the same position could understand what could not be explained. As we progressed into this gestation period, our spirits became so disturbed, no position felt comfortable; such as going to church, teaching a Sunday school class, a Bible study, preaching the Sunday morning message, or even being the guest speaker at a prophetic conference. All of the God centered activities that had been the very center of our lives became so difficult to do, some of us just walked away.
After much complaining about what was no longer working, the Holy Spirit finally got me to understand that Father God was stopping the old, and starting something NEW! WOW! Was I surprised! He caused me to understand that my concept of "new" still needed to be what I could understand, but God's meaning of "new" meant "NEW and DIFFERENT." After a while, Father God began giving me glimpses of what the "NEW" was going to look like. He would give me glimpses of Himself that I had never seen before. I became so lost in who HE was, I stopped trying to be who I thought I was. I now understood that we were coming into a whole new season of time, one that had never happened before. It was all about God, it was the Kingdom Age.
Now don't freak out on me, but we have been praying the "Lords prayer" all of our Christian lives.
You know the scripture; Matt 6:9-10 (KJV) "Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
We prayed it, but did not really understand what it meant. In this new season, the way Heaven does it is the way we on Earth are going to do it. Although our lives seem to be coming apart, Father God has been testing us, changing us in the midst of it. As he stripped away the OLD us, like stripping away layers of paint we felt bare, exposed, certainly, and completely unprepared to face anything new. When I would complain to the Father about my vulnerable position, he would only say "Trust Me." The 43rd chapter of Isaiah verses 18 & 19 played over and over in my spirit.
Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isa 43:18-19 NKJV)
He is Bringing it to Pass
For a long time they seemed to be the only scriptures in the Bible. It finally became clear to me what the Father was saying, "I AM DOING SOMETHING NEW." I stopped trying to recreate the former, (the familiar) and began looking for, and expecting the NEW!
At the writing of this article we are in the NOW season of time. I believe, we are at the "SPRING FORTH" part of verse 19. We are in the time when things will suddenly change right before our eyes. This is the hour that which we have waited for, prayed for, travailed for, interceded and labored for WILL appear. Galatians 6:9 tells us,
"Don't become weary in well doing," (don't stop believing what he has promised will happen) "for in due season you will reap if you faint not."
Some believers will be caught TOTALLY OFF GUARD, because they would not let go of the way things were, or the way they think things should be done. In this, the God Season, it will be done just like Father God wants it done. We, His manifested sons and daughters, will have access to ALL that belongs to our Heavenly Father. As it is in heaven, it will be on earth. We are living epistles, the very embodiment of God himself. We are NOT God, but we have his DNA in us, we are HIS children. Those of you who are weary, and feel totally overwhelmed in this battle of believing, remember this, 1 Tim 6:12 (AMP) tells us to;
"Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned."
Hold ON, BE ENCOURAGED! This is the time we have been waiting for and we have this hope found in Galatians 6:9-10 (NKJV)
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
The NEW is NOW!
It's the darkest before the dawn, but it is the dawning of what we have waited for. Just like a bride on her wedding day at 2 am in the morning. It is totally dark outside, but it is still her wedding DAY! For many of us it is DARK outside. Not a glimpse of daylight can be seen, but it is still the dawning of OUR NEW DAY! With every passing moment it will get brighter and brighter. The Psalmist says it so well in Psalm 30 and the last part of verse 5, (NKJV)
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)
The enemy of our soul is SCREAMING, "it's over, you are finished, it's the end, and God has played a big ole joke on you!" He actually said those exact words to me just a few days ago. For a few hours I forgot who I was and I so hate to admit it, but I believed what he was saying. Oh, but then the HOLY SPIRIT put his arms around me, and whispered in my ear, "it is dark now but the sun is on its way up." My spirit snuggled into his arms and I was no longer afraid, because, NOW, is the Time I have been waiting for!
Your Time Is NOW!
