The Lord is sending out a wave of new strength and encouragement. There is a new power and anointing starting this month to help you through.
New strength, peace and hope are being imparted to the weary and anyone in need of a drink of the Spirit.
Do not be discouraged and don’t give up. December marks a turning point for you.
Power to Pray is Increasing
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 NIV
Over the past few months, I have released several prophetic words about the damage the pandemic has caused by taking out a large number of elderly and mature people who were covering us in prayer.
I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint. Habakkuk 2:1 NIV
This prophetic word will remain in effect over the next few months. The Lord is raising up people to pray night and day. You do not need to wake up in the night to pray. The Lord wants you to pray whenever and wherever you are able.
The Storm of the Lord
See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand this. Jeremiah 30:23–24 NIV
As a response to the storm that Satan has unleashed against us, the Lord is now stepping up the war against the powers of darkness. He will not back down until His purposes are fulfilled.
The Lord is now fighting your battle.
New Understanding is Coming
… In days to come you will understand this. Jeremiah 30:24 NIV
The Lord is releasing revelation and understanding into the attacks against you and the greater attacks against cities, business, churches and the world.
The light of the Lord is going to come and shine into the darkness and reveal hidden things.
Watch for the Holy Spirit to show you what is beneath the surface of things. This is not to bring judgment or condemnation but to bring freedom.
Be careful not to pass judgments on others as you might be shown things that have been hidden. Pray and use the spirit of reconciliation.
This is a season of healing and redeeming the past!
New Discernment of the Voice of the Lord
The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeep-er opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. John 10:2–3 NIV
The Lord is releasing a greater ability to hear His voice and discern the false voices and words. Be prepared to sort out things that might not have been from the Lord. Again, this is not to bring condemnation or judgment but instead bring freedom.
When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. John 10:4 NIV
The voice of the Lord is going to be clear for those who ask for it. This is important to reboot your ability to hear the Lord as we enter the new year.
But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice. John 10:5 NIV
The ability to discern the voice of the Lord is going to be much easier in the weeks and months to come.
Spirit of Grace and Reconciliation
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18–19 NIV
The Lord is revealing things in our lives that may need to be changed. This is not meant to make you feel bad or to condemn you.
The Lord is releasing the “ministry of reconciliation.” This must start with yourself. As the Lord reveals things that you might have in your heart and life, it is important to take them to the cross of Christ.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Luke 6:41 NIV
As we close the year, the Lord is calling us to clear out any judgments and hurts that we might have toward others. This is the very key to opening your ability to hear His voice and open financial strategies and blessings.
