What Jesus Didn't Finish at the Finished Work by Dr. Kluane Spake

By Kluane Spake
The FINISHED WORK WAS COMPLETED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN AND BROUGHT TO MANIFESTATION AND REALITY AT THE CROSS when Jesus said, "It is Finished." We must catch and apply these truths for ourselves. Many Christians do not understand what transpired on the Cross. Many think we have to wait to get to heaven to inherit His promises. The Cross is the pivot point, centerpiece, conclusion, and centrality of the ages of why Jesus came to earth. The Finished Work means that the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross fulfilled what had been planned from before time began.

The FINISHED WORK WAS COMPLETED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN AND BROUGHT TO MANIFESTATION AND REALITY AT THE CROSS when Jesus said, “It is Finished.”

We must catch and apply these truths for ourselves.

WHAT HAPPENED IN ETERNITY PAST THAT WAS FOREORDAINED BEFORE CREATION AND THE FOUNDATION (CONCEPTION) OF THE WORLD?

The Mystery Hidden: In the very beginning, the Son of God dwelt in Glory (Jn. 1:1-2). God saw the condition of humanity and the need for a Savior; Redemption was all planned before the beginning. The apostle Paul stated that God’s wisdom was “a mystery that has been hidden” and that God destined a plan for our glory before time began” (1 Cor. 2:7).

When Jesus said He must work (Jn. 9:4), that “work” spectacularly fulfilled those pre-creation plans and ancient prophecies, culminating in cross, resurrection, and ascension. God’s plan of redemption is eternal. Finished before creation. Revealed and brought forth at the Cross as Finished.

The Lamb was Slain: “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Rev. 13:8).

God’s plan for the Finished Work of the Cross began beyond the corridor of time, before this world span into space and light was spoken into being (Gen. 1:3). In eternity past, before the Garden and before Adam, the Lamb was slain.

Peter explained that this crucifixion determined (it was foreknown that the precious blood of Christ) would be manifested (revealed at the Cross) FOR THEIR SAKE” (1 Pet. 1:19-20). “

Jesus was Chosen: Jesus was chosen before the creation of the world (cosmos) (1 Pet. 1:20).

Jesus was Loved: Jesus knew that He was eternally loved. We will see His glory because the Father loved Him “before the foundation of the world” (Jn. 17:24).

Jesus was Approved: Apostle Peter said that Jesus was delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God” (Acts 2).

Salvation: We are saved by grace that extended from eternity past, transformed into holiness, and called into a holy calling in Christ Jesus before time began (2 Tim. 1:9).

God Knew Us: Before we were born, we were known, consecrated, and appointed (Jer. 1:5).

We are Adopted: Beyond time, it was planned (predestined) that believers could be then be adopted as sons (Gal. 4:4-5, Eph. 1:4-5).

We are Chosen: We are chosen in Christ “before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him” (Eph. 1:4).

The kingdom was prepared for us from the foundation of the world (Mat. 25:34-40).

He has Given us Our Inheritance: We were predestined (already, according to the plan) to obtain our inheritance (Eph. 1:11).

Your Name: Your name was written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world (Rev. 13:8, 1i7:18).

Secrets: There are secret things from the foundation of the world that will be spoken in parables by the prophet (Mat. 13:35).

God Rests: We can enter into God’s rest because His works were finished from the foundation of the world (Heb. 4:3).

God Prepared Ahead: God prepared beforehand to make known the riches of His glory for us as vessels of mercy (Rom. 9:23). God planned for us to be His workmanship and walk in His good works (Eph. 2:10).

Jesus Put Away Sin: Once and for all sin is settled (Heb. 9:26).

God knew his works from eternity (Acts 15:18).
