In March of 2022, as I was going about my day doing some household chores, seemingly out of the blue, the Lord spoke to me, "It's time for restoration." His statement stopped me in my tracks as I felt the words permeate my entire being. In that moment, His tangible presence filled the atmosphere, and I knew that restoration for me personally truly had just begun. Upon receiving this word and having His presence invade my space in such a tangible way, I was excited and right away wanted to share the word with His people. Although I partially shared it with a few close friends, He instructed me to wait before I released it fully. It was not yet His timing for me to share it publicly. For over a year, I've waited for Him to give me the green light to share this word, and now it's time!
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Psalm 3:3-4 When we are going through a difficult time or dealing with a heavy burden of stress, anxiety, fear, or condemnation, it's extremely challenging to make the paradigm shift from self-occupation to Christ-occupation. So how do we do it? To answer that question, let me show you how David encouraged himself in the Lord whenever he was fearful, anxious, or depressed.
The Lord is doing a deep work and healing us to prepare us for what is ahead. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.Psalms 33:18 NIV The Lord is watching over us and He's removing the things that are holding us back from getting our breakthrough. We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. Psalms 33:20 NIV We have been in a time of transition and waiting on the Lord. He has been bringing deeper healing and is shielding us by his Holy Spirit. There are warring and helper angels around us and being assigned daily.
Last night I had a burden over a friend of mine, a friend I have shared Jesus with in the past. Life can take us on different journeys, and I think we all have seasons of struggle, or we probably haven't lived very long! Struggles help us learn and find breakthroughs. They help us understand HOW God wants us to overcome. Because I have been around a few years, I have heard a lot of good testimonies and I am blessed for that. What a difference someone's testimony can make to us and help us! They will show you His Word in life and in action! Light can come in for us, to explain things, and widen our horizons.
We are told that we must listen to God's voice when we need to make important decisions. What does the Bible say about hearing God's voice? How do we apply this to our everyday lives? Here are 7 Bible verses about hearing God's voice.
What areas of life are you lacking breakthrough in? Are you praying for a financial miracle, or a healing? I'm not sure what you are contending for, maybe there are dreams and desires in your heart that have not yet come to pass. Throughout the timeline of one's life, there are always areas that we are standing in the gap for. It could be a prophetic word about your destiny or to see a lost family member come to know Jesus. For many people, it's probably multiple different things.
Webster defines anxiety as "a state of being uneasy, apprehensive, or worried about what may happen; concerned about a possible future event." Anxiety is a fact of life in our modern-day society. Stress related illness is one of the most popular topics in today's health magazines. Although some people are more prone to worry than others, I don't think anyone is immune to anxiety and worry. That is the reason the apostle Paul wrote to the church at Philippi: "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts, and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
God tells us that we are wonderfully and fearfully made which basically means we were created for a higher purpose, for His purpose. "I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well," (Psalm 139:14 AMP). What does that really mean? Fearfully when translated from the Hebrew means with great reverence, heart-felt interest, and with respect. Wonderfully when translated from the Hebrew means unique and set apart. God created each of us with a higher purpose than we even have knowledge of. It's His secret that He's revealing to us a little at a time until we are able to wrap our brains around the entire enchilada.
While spending time with the Lord, I was taken into a vision. I could see an eye looking down from the heavens. Below were dark skies, an ocean of raging seas. In the middle of this storm, I saw a mountain peak start to emerge out of the water. As the mountain grew larger and larger the sky around the peak started to change to a beautiful vibrant orange and yellow with white fluffy clouds all around. The base of the mountain still had a storm. I
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told His disciples He would send the power of the Holy Spirit upon them. But they had no idea what that would look like. Jesus didn't give them a script to prepare them for Pentecost. There was no church bulletin to explain that a rushing wind would blow at 9 a.m., or that flames would rest on their heads at 9:05 a.m., or that they would speak in strange languages at 9:10 a.m.
