You may have heard it said that there is too much of an emphasis on "consciousness" within the Body of Christ at the present. The thought I've seen being expressed is that there were things being misconstrued and it was becoming self–focused and idolatrous self-exaltation.  In some cases, I'm sure that is true. Where there is truth being emphasized, error will always try to creep in to skew it. Although, anytime there is an emphasis in a certain area where long tenured beliefs are being challenged or enhanced, we must look to see where our Lord is in it.  We cannot fear the things God speaks because of the language being used and yet follow Him in the forefront of what He is establishing.  Realignment often comes being imposed and yet pondered.

The Importance of Emphasis
 
You may have heard it said that there is too much of an emphasis on "consciousness" within the Body of Christ at the present. The thought I've seen being expressed is that there were things being misconstrued and it was becoming self–focused and idolatrous self-exaltation.  In some cases, I'm sure that is true. Where there is truth being emphasized, error will always try to creep in to skew it.
 
Although, anytime there is an emphasis in a certain area where long tenured beliefs are being challenged or enhanced, we must look to see where our Lord is in it.  We cannot fear the things God speaks because of the language being used and yet follow Him in the forefront of what He is establishing.  Realignment often comes being imposed and yet pondered.
 
Every move of God has manifestations and as long as man is involved there will be extremes. But the answer is not to throw out the realignment by arguing against what He is doing or how it is being done. Divine order's process often looks like chaos before it's all aligned. God will have what He will have. It's best not to find we are fighting against God over our preferences.
 
What then is the importance of consciousness and it's emphasis? Not only is it an awareness of our thoughts, emotions, inner being, gifting, and original design, but it's also an awareness of Christ within.  Unfortunately, the Church is weaker in these areas then it should be. It's spent most of its emphasis on the outer world and not the inner life.  Fortunately, it's on God's heart to change that making us conscious.
 
"And Jacob awoke from his sleep and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place and I did not know it."  Genesis 28:16
 
Internal Consciousness
 
There must be a balance of the two: internal consciousness and external consciousness.  I've watched prophets with a powerfully accurate prophetic word but they themselves were bound in the torment of rejection second-guessing and not seeing their self worth beyond their ability to prophesy. How dreadful.
 
Yes, there must be a balance that consists of looking inward, seeing the gift, seeing the design, seeing the flow, observing our thoughts and emotions as indicators but trusting the Lord in everything and not living in the idolatry of self-dependence and self-exaltation.
 
Consciousness in this respect is the sense of being interactively aware of the Presence of God in every area of life, internal and external, while living from that Oneness and Presence within out into the world around us.
 
Internal Oneness
 
We become one with Him and the gifts we carry. Gifts are not some kind of spiritual thing we pick up along the way to haul around gradually adding to our inventory of spiritual badge acquisitions. They are drawn to the vacuum created within as we hunger and thirst for righteousness. Our Father imparts them in love. We are told to desire the best gifts but especially that we communicate the divine will and purposes of God prophetically.  He wants us to share His desire and communicate them in His loving Spirit. We can only do that if we ourselves experience His amazing goodness.
 
"Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching)."  1 Corinthians 14:1
 
Flowing in Love
 
Gifts flow outwardly to the world around us from the inherent life-changing power within when the person carrying it becomes one with it.  Then the heart of love is enabled to flow with ease interwoven with the gift rather than allowing the gift to be in charge so to speak. Gifts must be melded into our being.
 
This happens as a result of our walk with Christ and our oneness with Him. Otherwise, it will be a loveless, noisy ineffective release minus the necessary words of life. Oh, it may wow people but what's that worth? Not much at all. Gifts are designed to cause people to receive the love of God so they can fall in love with Jesus. I love that! It keeps me centered on my purpose.
 
Creating With His Heart
 
Heaven moves with our Christocentric intentions as we're in synchronicity with His voice. Intention is vital in understanding how we are designed after our Father. He makes decisions and creates out of His intention. We do the same with our inner world and the world around us. The Word of God functions the same way. It will not cooperate with an ungodly intent. In the same sense we are not designed physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually to live fear-based but love-based.  We're to speak creatively from that place. None other.
 
"You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God's favor] shall shine upon your ways."  Job 22:28
 
If we are to move into the future in purpose and design, we must know how to get there. Intention will move you forward with purpose in the midst of any environment. As co-creators with Him, we are to live and create as we were designed.  Since discovering Father's original design for me, I've been enabled to fully embrace, love and flow with the unique gift that I am for His purposes.
 
We're not trying to become something. We're to discover who we are by design and be that in every way. It's essential to accepting and loving yourself and then confidently embracing how He flows through you.
 
You are uniquely designed. There is no one else that is quite like you or designed for what is yours to fulfill. Every moment is a gift for you to live and love freely in acceptance of yourself and by others while doing the same for them.
 
Consciousness, Intention & Maturity
 
Consciousness is a big part of our success involving anything spiritual in nature.  As we mature in Christ we become more conscious of being one with Him.  That maturity is what grants us spiritual authority. We access areas that novices are unfamiliar with accessing. There is value in our life experience over time. When consciousness, intention and maturity come together we see ourselves functioning and flowing as Jesus did.
 
Jesus was conscious of God's sovereignty as well as His identity as Son. He cast out devils, walked on water and healed the sick and raised the dead out of His intention as a man anointed by and completely submitted to Holy Spirit. His compassion flowed completely out of the love of His Father. All He had to do was speak His intent aligned with His Father and tremendous things were released to manifest all around Him.
 
Maturity grows in knowledge, wisdom and understanding while exercising spiritual authority and continuing to grow through submission. Maturity allows us to impact lives without the spotlight on ourselves. Maturity removes argumentation and simply takes action demonstrating the character, spirit and love of Christ with every intention.  This is success. What good are miracles if we cannot conquer ourselves?
 
Where is this Leading?
 
Have you ever prayed for the love of Christ to flow through you? It's been a lifelong quest of mine. I've finally understood how and have been apprehending it through deep personal transformation initiated by the Lord.
 
The more conscious and interactive we become with Holy Spirit, the more the world around us will receive Him as He flows out of us. His love will flow through our views, intentions, behaviors, words and deeds. Each of these is to become a true demonstration of His Spirit and Kingdom. We become saturated in Him and He loves through us even when we are unaware of it. That is truly our function as Kings & Priests.
 
Consciousness & The Kingdom
 
We are Kings who are to dominate the Earth with His Spirit of Love. Our Priesthood is to offer up all our Father puts His finger on to set us free of fear-based issues. We also represent God to man and man to God. It's a very unique interaction. 
 
I've learned a lot over the past 10 + years in the midst of what appears to be hardships in this unique lifelong journey of mine. While it's a difficult path at times to maneuver through, it's been quite a sweet time of discovery. As we fulfill our function as a royal priesthood, we are actually taking our place as leaders to keep our realms of responsibility and influence free of having worldly and demonic influence while being full of the love of Christ.
 
We are to see through the eyes of Christ seeing the heart of the matter & the heart of the people in front of us.  How can we truly function in the dominion of Christ's love if we cannot even see and truly love ourselves first?
 
I appeal to you today, become conscious of Christ in you and He will show you who you are.  It will be the best thing you could ever do. It's absolutely changed my life.  All these things are yours. Don't wait another minute without taking pursuit.
 
"Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint and as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh]. Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him]. It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God."  2 Corinthians 5:16-20

A lot of us are in process right now. Don't get in a hurry. The world is not coming to an end. Things may be changing, but it's not doomsday. It's time to awaken the ekklesia. I get wearied when hearing modern "Christian" lingo as we face unfamiliar happenings in the world. There is a defeated, helpless mentality that echoes what has been said repetitively causing inaction for way too many years. Then those things get thrown into helpless, hopeless buckets. There are many.  The one I'm thinking about at this moment is the, "It's the End-Times, You Know" bucket. I'm sorry dear soul. It's not. Nor is it time to escape. It's not time to endlessly stream on-demand zombie apocalypse movies. 
I believe that the condition of the Church is the genuine concern during this global crisis. The location of where we meet corporately is really up for the Lord to direct. We can move a meeting around from one location to another but if the condition doesn't change, it's all the same. So what is the Lord wanting? Is He wanting to take us out of buildings? I hardly think that is the case. In some instances it may happen and may be necessary. Although, I think we need to not look at the circumstantial effects as the purpose. Rather, we need to look at what the Lord is saying in all of this.
Asking the right questions get the right answers. As we ponder the things we wonder about to get clarity, its helpful to look within. The Lord will write it upon your heart before you need to know it. He will speak and progressively move you in the direction of what He has written. It's His plan and He's never negligent. So, as you are moving forward and processing what He's speaking to you, look within and listen. "The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being." Proverbs 20:27, NIV
