God's Transcendence Designs and Defines His Superior Desires for You by Bill Click

Recently more than a few physicists have concluded that when what is called The Big Bang occurred, it took place faster than the speed of light. At the same time, they are certain that nothing can move through the universe faster than that same speed of light. Their conclusion confounds them, but still, they concede it. They can offer no explanation for this contradiction. It is just something they accept by observation as the only explanation. By doing so, these physicists are making a huge concession. They are concluding that what created the universe had an ability superior to what resulted from that act.

This may take a bit longer for me to say than for you to understand, so….

This means that which caused all to be did not act in accordance with the resulting laws they now observe to be in place. Theologically, we who believe call this transcendence. God transcends what He creates, both by His superior substance and His unlimited ability.

What does this mean? Why does this matter? How can any of this be of any significance for us who not only know what happened, but live by the power of The One who did it?  Well, it is definitely not significant that we would come to understand or agree with physicists. That said, it could provide us with a clearer picture of God's way with you and I as His own. He must reveal Himself to us if we are to ever have understanding. He must make Himself present among us if we are to experience Him.

We know that God created all that is, and that now many human intelligentsia dedicated to understanding the Universe, confess that actions took place caused through a greater ability than one now seen. Also, that The One who happened to create the universe did not act by the same rules, which seem to have resulted.

Again, this is already stated, so why is it important for us to contemplate?

The Creator is Greater than His Creation

God is superior to what He set in place for all to see and wonder about. The One who creates is greater than what He created. He has superseding power over all things: to alter our design, to conceive, intervene, reshape and restore. It is just that simple. God did not limit Himself with us to any law we can observed after bringing it into being, therefore He will not limit Himself to any of our understandings in His acts toward us- even though apart from Him we certainly do have limits that are clearly established (see Isaiah 55:6-11).

God does not act with you, I, or others within the limits determined by the natural realm around us. He is neither legally nor ethically bound to physical laws that otherwise (apart from Him) certainly prevail. And that Same One who created all by His Own Superiority Has now come to specifically recreate you as His new creature in Christ:

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God...  (2 Cor.5:17-18).

Today: Receive the Word of the Lord: God's way with you is neither according to what has been, now is, nor is it in any way determined by what already exists. God's way with you will supersede what is; it will change your existence in whatever way He acts. He acts supernaturally and what He does manifests in the natural realm. It comes according to His desire now expressed by what He will say and reveal (Heb.11:1; Ro.10:17). The One who said let there be light acts toward you with superseding power that is exceeding abundantly above all we can ask or think (Gen.1:3; Eph.3:20). He does this so you will become conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). It is done so that you may have lack of nothing and in this world be as He is (1Ths. 4:12; 1 John.4:17).

An Eternal Purpose

The new creature reality is that when the Lord speaks, He is releasing an eternal purpose into your life on earth. It is one that you may not immediately comprehend; it may come wrapped in a process you may not easily grasp. But on that path of faith and trust, He will exhibit a power greater than you could ever have, because of a plan that brings life from death, forward acceleration out of lingering reversal, a restoration from destruction which advances into a destiny not determined by what has already taken place (Psalm139; Romans 8:28-29).

His living and active Word is His specific desire expressed to you, which supersedes all that is or could ever be by your own ability (Heb. 4:12; Zech. 4:6). As you receive what God releases to you, He brings forth what He has already set in place by recreating you, conforming you in Christ to that very blueprint (Romans 8:29). Receive this today.

Receive that as the very way your God involves Himself with you, that He acts and no one can reverse it (Isaiah 43:13). Receive that what He longs establishes in, for and through you is going to remain, because He upholds all things by the Word of His power (Heb.1:3). Believe God and let it be credited to you as righteousness (Gen.15:6).

Remember: when the Lord speaks to you, that which is truly supernatural has come. It is truth that opens the door to reshape your present understanding, future prospects and important decisions (John 14:6). And it is He who will cause and keep what He has declared in your hearing on course as you walk with Him in simple childlike faith (Romans 10:17; Philippians 1:6).

Receive the Word of the Lord today!
