Demonic or Dynamic

GENESIS 42:1-3:"WHY DO YOU LOOK AT ONE ANOTHER? INDEED I HAVE HEARD THAT THERE IS CORN IN EGYPT. GO DOWN TO THAT PLACE AND BUY FOR US THERE, THAT WE MAY LIVE AND NOT DIE."
Jacob's sons were sitting staring at each other and falling into a place of complacency, unbelief and despair, because of an economic crisis. This is what men do when they don't have a prophetic voice to give them God's plan. They feed off each other's misery and grief. Joseph's brothers had sold their prophetic voice (Joseph) to Egypt, and now the provision was where the prophetic voice was - in Egypt. Jacob told them to stop feeding off each other's despair and go to where the provision was; in actual fact, he was sending them to where the prophet was. The prophet is God's gift to mankind, and the purpose of that gift is to communicate God's secrets (hidden things). God gives His prophets insight and foresight, so that men can live under His economy and His establishment. When bad things happen, there is always a remedy. The one thing that I've discovered as a prophet is that history is a nightmare. People who allow history to control them are never inspired, and they are always filled with doubt and gloom for the future. History is filled with scandals and acts of corruption, and to believe that what we have witnessed is the end of God's plan is blasphemous.
Religion, the establishment, is satisfied with improvement, but throughout history, prophets always insisted on redemption. Along with condemnation for man's sin, the prophet offered a promise, "The heart of stone will be taken away, and a heart of flesh will be given instead. (Ezekiel 11:19) Into a world fascinated with idolatry, drunk with power and bloated with arrogance, enters the prophet's words on the street corners and in humble facilities. He declares that this Nation, the USA, will search, not for gold, power or harlotries, but for God's Word. Why would God not offer redemption to this Nation under the supreme grace of Christ, when he did for Nineveh, under the Law?
Nineveh, "the bloody city, all full of lies and booty," held the world in spell with her "countless harlotries" and her "graceful and deadly charms." (Nahum 3:1-4) According to Abraham Heschel, "The power and splendor of Nineveh were unrivaled in the world. For centuries, it was the city to which the eyes of the civilized world were turned. The immense tribute that flowed from the many lands into the capital of the empire not only helped to maintain a huge army, but also lust, luster and luxury. Yet, God sent a prophet to bring them to a place of redemption."
Events should not control our faith or our expectations. When events come crashing down on us, we must control the event by dictating it's course.
We cannot stop a crisis, but we can steer a crisis.
IF ONLY OUR FORESIGHT WERE AS GOOD AS OUR HINDSIGHT.
HINDSIGHT: Recognition of the realities, possibilities, or requirements of a situation, event, decision, etc., after its occurrence; Perception of the significance and nature of events AFTER they have occurred; Wisdom and knowledge acquired only after something has happened.
FORESIGHT: Knowledge and insight gained by looking forward and gaining a view of the future, seeing ahead, knowing in advance. Can you imagine how life would be if our foresight were as good as our hindsight? Think about recognizing the realities, possibilities and requirements of a situation or event, BEFORE it's occurrence. We are so quick to slay demons that don't exist and enter wars that are not necessary. If we had enough foresight, we would not be as apt to call something demonic, when in fact it could be a dynamic working in our life to bring about progress and change. Let's get an understanding of these forces and their definitions:
DEMONIC: A frenzied spirit that inspires evil.
DYNAMIC: Greek - "Dunamikos," coming from the word "Dunamis," which means power; a FORCE that stimulates change or progress within a system.
This kind of force could easily be mistaken for evil activity, if you do not know the outcome. On the day of Pentecost, the followers of Christ were in an Upper Room in Jerusalem, awaiting a promise that Jesus had given. They lingered until there was the sound of a mighty rushing wind, and the sound filled the entire room. It was a frenzy of uncontrolled excitement and wild behavior. The fact is, when they started speaking in various languages, as the tongues of fire sat upon each one of them, the people watching gave their stark evaluation of the situation; "It is not yet the middle of the day and they are drunk." (Acts 2:13) This event could very possibly have been perceived as demonic, but in fact it was "dunamikos" that had come out of "dunamis." (Keep in mind the word "dunamis" means power or force.) Jesus told his disciples that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit and power, and that this "power" would be used to heal sick bodies, raise the dead, cast out demons, communicate with clarity, and so on. They knew the outcome of the "force" and therefore concluded that it was not demonic, and accepted the dynamic, which would stimulate change and progress.
My heart is so burdened by the lack of prophetic insight provided to the general public, and I'm not referring to the church of Jesus Christ only, but to the media in general. EVENTS CONTROL US. While in Salt Lake City, Utah, I came across a newspaper and these were the headlines; "SIGNS OF A GROWING CRISIS Relentless flow' of BAD ECONOMIC NEWS suggests there's no easy way out."
I had to smile to myself when I read that ridiculous statement; so a flow of "bad economic news" (not necessarily facts) suggests there is no easy way out? G.C. Lichtenberg wrote, "The most dangerous of all falsehoods is a slightly distorted truth." Amazingly, most people are against everything all of the time, waiting for their pessimistic opinion to be confirmed. The news article continued to say:
DOW: "Blue-chip stocks down 21.2% in the past year."
INFLATION: "Wholesale prices have risen 9.2% since June 2007."
U.S DOLLAR: "Down 13.2% vs. Euro during the past year."
FORECLOSURES: "Up 53% since this time last year."
The fact is, there are solutions to many of these problems, but politics and politicians have simply stifled them. I want to remind you that God sends prophets to give foresight to His people about the future, so that they can control the event, instead of the event controlling them. In other words, the event COULD actually happen, but it must not control our mindset, our spirituality, our outlook, our praise, or our disposition/discourse. Jesus Christ faced a severe storm on a boat and continued sleeping. The storm was probable when they climbed into the boat, however, though the meteorologists may have predicted it, this did NOT stop Christ from getting into the boat and going to the other side. When the storm caused the disciples to reach the point of despair, and upon wakening Christ with the pessimistic distorted exclamation, "Do you not care that we are going to perish?" He rebuked them for their little faith and TOOK CHARGE of the situation by adjusting the event (a nasty, life threatening storm) with His command, "Peace, be still."
In April this year, I prophesied the following:
"While I was praying again this afternoon, the Lord told me to remind the people that there are two great banking systems that will fall; not to fear, no recession. He said do not listen to the powerful force of prognostication, the force of prognosis, and the media that are dictating how you are supposed to feel about the future. He said let this be a sign to you; two great banking systems will fall but it is not something that will destroy this nation. He said it is the bear and it is the lion. And I said, Lord what are you talking about? I can't get up there and tell these people that there's going to be a break in the banking system, and He said, good riddance to bad rubbish or to junk. In other words, I've got to do a bit of removing, so I can take you to that higher place. There will be no recession!"
What I found fascinating was that God was warning us about banks failing, etc., while having a positive attitude about the whole economic issue in the USA. He continually says, "Not to fear; no recession. Don't listen to the powerful force of prognostication "LET THIS BE A SIGN TO YOU." Do you realize that whenever God mentions that something is a sign, redemption is usually near? Redemption means a rescue, deliverance or recovery.
25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
When Indy-Mac closed its doors, did anyone say, "THIS IS A SIGN TO US"? I doubt it, because the power of the media arrests our faith and causes us to agree with the slum that they build in the airwaves. The worst thing about it is that we PAY these pipers to lead us into the slums of unbelief.
Had Nebuchadnezzar never taken Daniel captive, the Kings of Babylon would never have declared, "There is only one God and that is the God of Daniel, the God of Israel!" Demonic or Dynamic?
Had David never been persecuted and hunted by King Saul, we would not have the precious psalms and Messianic prophecies that were sung by David in the caves and hills. Mt. Zion would not have been established and Christ would not have come forth. Demonic or Dynamic?
Had Joseph's brothers not betrayed him and sold him as a slave, Israel would never have fulfilled the prophetic word that God gave to Abraham.
Genesis 15:13-14; "Then He said to Abram, 'Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them for four hundred years. And also the nation (Egypt), whom they serve I will judge; afterward they (Israel) shall come out with great possessions.'"
Had Joseph not been sold as a slave, there would be no Passover, no sacrifice of a lamb, nor would there be the establishment of a holy priesthood and the establishment of the office of a prophet; no Ten Commandments, no Holy anointing oil, the ark of the covenant, the establishment of a holy land, etc.
I'm not saying that there are no demonic activities whatsoever, and that evil does not exist, however God is GOD and ultimately uses any force of evil and turns it around for GOOD.
Get ready to steer your crisis and create a dynamic that will force you into a higher place of progress and change.
