Yesterday afternoon as I was
browsing around in a store, I noticed a sign that caught my attention. It read:
Slow down, calm down, don't
worry, don't hurry, Trust the Process.
The Holy Spirit reminded me of a conversation that I overheard recently
of a man talking to another man about weight lifting. He said to him, you can't
expect to have huge muscles in a few weeks. There is a training process that
you have to go through. The Lord gave me this word about "Trusting the
Process".
The Lord says, just as the potter
designs each clay pot in different shapes and sizes, I have designed and
created each of you. Everyone has been born with a unique function and plan.
Everyone is strategically created for different purposes and I will work with
each of you in a specific way. Trust Me when you feel that the process is too
difficult. Know that I am molding you and shaping you into the person who I
have created you to be. Do not fear the process or the times when you are on potter's
wheel and do not refuse it. This place is necessary for Me to mold you and
conform you into My image. This is the place where all impurities and
defilement will be destroyed and all bruises and blemishes will be erased. This
is the place where the rough edges will be smooth out, broken vessels will be
restored and wounds from the past will be removed. The memories of the
afflictions and traumas will be wiped away. This is the place where your mind
will be renewed and you will learn to walk in integrity and grow in maturity.
This place is necessary for your spiritual growth and fruit that will remain.
Allow Me to Accomplish My Perfect Will
Do not resist the work which I am
doing on the potter's wheel but allow Me to transform you as I shape your life
and destiny. Do not battle within yourself by saying that this is an
uncomfortable place, but know that it is for your benefit and necessary to
bring you into My purpose and plan for your life. Things may get messy on the potter's
wheel and it may seem to be spinning out of control at times but refuse
discouragement and know that I am working in and through your life. Allow Me to
accomplish My perfect will in you as I work in you and fashion you into the
person that I have called you to be. I Am the master potter and as you submit
yourself to the process, I will rearrange your life and work deep within. As
you allow Me to mold you into the glorious vessel that I created you to be, others
will see the brilliance of the transformed life that I am forming in you. You
are individually crafted and exclusively built. There are no two of you the
same, and no two serves the same purpose. I desire to make something beautiful
out of your life as you allow Me to work in and through you says the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Isaiah 29:16 Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be
esteemed as the clay; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, "He
did not make me?" Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, "He
has no understanding?"
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You
our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.
Jeremiah 18:1-4 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:"
Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My
words." Then I went down to the potter's house, and there he was, making
something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the
hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good
to the potter to make.
