A Vision of Walking with Jesus through Accusation

"One day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside" (Psalm 84:10).

In a vision, I was walking with Jesus down a long path. He had one arm around me as we walked, and with His other hand, He held a large golden shield with an enormous cross on the front. He held the shield up high over both of us and deflected many fiery darts.

As we walked together, there were people on both sides of us, and they flung fiery darts of accusation, condemnation, and unrighteous judgment against us. They were believing lies and were passionately accusing me and flinging arrows of condemnation at me.

Jesus was able to deflect many of the arrows with His shield, but sometimes the arrows were able to hit me. As they did, they would enter my spirit, and I could see myself experience great pain.

At first, the pain would keep me paralyzed for a while, unable to move or respond to their actions. But as I gained control of my senses, I wanted to lash out at them in anger. I would turn and start to address them and defend myself, which would result in even more accusation and pain.

However, Jesus would grab me with His arm and turn me into Himself, until my face was buried in His chest. He held me there for sometime, absorbing some of the pain of the attack into Himself, and restoring my mind and spirit with His.

We walked for quite some time on the path, while the lies and accusations of the enemy raged against us. This scene was repeated often as we walked. I did not understand the battle or even where we were headed. All I knew was that I needed to stay with Jesus, because it was only in Him (even in the midst of this fierce battle) that I was safe.

A Glorious Light from The Throne

As I looked ahead of us, I saw a faint light in the distance; the light grew stronger as we walked. The longer we walked, the greater the light became, and the less the battle could affect us until we finally reached the throne of God.

From the throne came a great and glorious light that seemed to penetrate everything it touched. In the light, I could feel the kindness and severity of God. He was just, but He was good. And although I was in awe, I also felt safe.

We approached the throne as the Lord still kept His arm around me urging me forward. He said to His Father, "Dearest Father, this child has faithfully past through the pathway of accusation and is worthy of honor. Will you please bless her?"

White Liquid Fire

The Father turned from Jesus to me, and raised His arm out toward me lovingly. From His palm came drops of white liquid-fire--the same fire that seemed to create His whole being.

As the drops hit me, they penetrated my body, and I could no longer stand--I had no strength. I fell to the floor as the drops continued to fall from His hands onto my body. I lay there until He pulled back His hand and the drops ceased.

Laying on the floor, unable to move, Jesus wrapped His arms around me and helped me to my feet. Without speaking, we walked to a nearby hill and sat down. He began to talk to me, and tell me of the future and said, "The Father and I have planned for you to stand on this hill. As you stand here, We will bring people to you, so they can experience the Father's glorious fire, and be restored and prepared for their destiny. Will you help them find Me?"

The Journey of Pain and Accusation

Still shaking and weak from the touch of the Father, I nodded my head "yes," as He left me and let me rest on the grass covered hill.

As I lay on the hill, I began to think back on the journey down the pathway. The accusations pained me until I realized that Jesus had made that same journey through accusation Himself, except He made it alone, without a shield. Although the battle was indeed difficult, it would have been much more so had Jesus not been there with me and used His shield to defend me.

Peace filled my soul, as I remembered the Scripture in 1 Peter 2:21-23, "For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously."

Many of you are being asked to walk on the path toward the glory of the Father. It is an exhausting and debilitating journey. But remember the prize--there is nothing that compares to His glory. The accusations of the enemy cannot keep you from Him. Moreover, they even helped you to receive more of Him, because His word says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted" (Psalm 34:18).

Though the battle rages all around you, stay close to your Savior, for in Him, you will find refuge and strength. And remember, no matter what the cost, "One day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside" (Psalm 84:10).

God Is With You

"Though men accuse you and believe all manner of evil against you, there is nothing that can keep you from the love of your Heavenly Father."

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).

Dear Friends, your Father loves you. He has a place for you. Let Him lead you to the plans of goodness that He has held just for you. Do not believe the lies of the enemy.

God is good, and He is with you.

Blessings,
