"Steven Curtis Chapman has experienced success at the highest levels of artistic, creative and commercial success, and that is impressive, but what impresses me more than that, is that he has done this while bringing Contemporary Christian music to perhaps the broadest audience, while maintaining the integrity of his life in the sense of call that we have if we truly believe in the Christian message, and that's impressive." said Dallas Holm.

"Thank you so much. What an honor, what a blessing. Thank you all who are responsible for this, I have not fully identified who all is responsible, but I'm sure my wife and my mom had something to do with it.I am really grateful. What a privilege it is to sit on stage with the other honorees, and to be honored, thank you for that," Chapman said as he accepted the award.
