Alan Metcalfe's Video Blog

IRVINE, CA (ANS) -- Alan Metcalfe, the discoverer of Universal Logic and the principle designer of the Safe Worlds system has released a must see video blog that discusses the "Timeless Questions" of life.
Every Christian who has an interest in the philosophy behind Christianity should see these blogs - they are very interesting and informative. You can see them by visiting The Missionaries News Service (www.missionariesnews.tv) and clicking on the blog icon at the bottom of the page.
A Well-Kept Secret
Probably the best kept secret in the world of science today, and particularly computer science, is that in 1999, on the verge of the millennium, Australian computer system designer Alan Metcalfe discovered what is called Universal Logic. I first met Alan in 2007, and have had the opportunity to work closely with him now for more than a year, and get to know about this amazing discovery.
Among many other things, Universal Logic, I have come to understand, is the critical, missing piece of the electronic business (e-business) puzzle that is needed before global e-business can occur. Sir Timothy Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web has said that it is the key to creating what he called The Semantic Web; which is the common name for the next generation of the World Wide Web.
Alan says that it is not only the key to Semantic technology, but that it is also the key to understanding creation; God, and Jesus Christ. "When Jesus tells us in the Bible in John 16: 25, that 'the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I will show you plainly of the Father", I think this is what He meant," Alan says.
Not only did Alan Metcalfe make this incredible and critical breakthrough scientific discovery in 1999, but eight years later he has now built his interpretation of The Semantic Web that is called Safe Worlds (www.safeworlds.net) and is starting to commercially release the technology. Safe Worlds is the underlying technology behind the Missionaries News Service (www.missionariesnews.tv) that is now attracting the top missions programs in the world to network their missionary activities.
"This is not another theory," he said. "It works! It is now proven beyond doubt."
As if this wasn't enough to attract global attention, what is also not widely known, is that Alan Metcalfe, a devout Christian, discovered Universal Logic through prayer; and by cracking the hidden code of the Bible. Imagine that; that the greatest scientific discovery in the history of mankind, has been made from reading the Bible.
"Universal Logic, as every believer should expect, is God's law," Alan told me recently. "It is Logos; the personification of logic in a form that can be computerized to deliver artificial intelligence."
"I have been working on trying to find the way to do viable e-business since 1983," he said.
"In 1988, after almost being wiped out, financially, in the Stock Market crash of October 1987, I was at a spiritual low in my life when I heard evangelist Kenneth Copeland give his testimony and decided to give prayer a go. Coming from a Roman Catholic background, up until then, I did not understand prayer; I did not understand that God is a personal God who is accessible to all of us."
"I was shocked to discover that if you pray; and are prepared to listen; and you understand the process, that you can actually speak with God."
Alan said that his prayer was simple, but meaningful, and, he thought, had nothing to do with finding the key to e-business.
Alan Metcalfe addresses a meeting of Christian leaders at his Irvine, California, studios. In the picture are Brian Nixon and Dick Innes.
"First I asked God for the biggest job he had. Then, to my surprise, I found my mind filled with the question, OK, what do you want to do? And for some strange reason, I said, I want to know the truth."
"I then went on the say, if you're listening God, I don't care how long it takes; I don't care what I have to do; I don't care what it costs; if you will show me your truth, then I will follow."
"The next thing 'He' said to me was: go and read the Bible; which I did; and nine years later, after many, many hours of research; and many, many truly amazing conversations with God; in November 1999, I saw Universal Logic for the first time."
Alan said that it was not until about three years into his research that he realized that the truth he was searching for in the Bible was also the key to what he was looking for to do global e-business.
"When I realized that the Greeks called Jesus Logos, the personification of logic, and that the problem I was trying to solve in computerization was one of logic, it all started to come together for me."
"I then realized that the Bible was a coded message. It is not a history book, but a mathematically perfect scientific document that explains the creation of the human mind (enlightenment) and its voyage through time to achieve its divine purpose.
"The key to understanding the Bible code is to realize that God uses the things of life; the people of the time; and the places of the world; as it was then known to His prophets, as symbols, not only to convey His message, but also to protect and preserve it.
"As the apostle Paul says in his letter to the Galatians (4:24), all 'these things are an allegory'."
"The words that I speak to you; they are spirit and they are life," (John 6: 63) Jesus said."
Alan Metcalfe's Video Blog
When I asked Alan why he decided to do the video blogs, he said that he thinks it is the right first step in releasing the information of Universal Logic to the world.
"I have been working on a book that details the discovery, but that is still a couple of years away. For now I must first stay focused on building and establishing Safe Worlds.
"I am aware however that the word is getting out; and people want to know more. I think the blog is a good first step in this process," he said.
"By applying Universal Logic to the big questions in life, that everyone asks, I hope that we can establish the power of this knowledge."
