His Glory, His New Sound & His Promise!
By John Belt
1. TIMES OF WORSHIP
Be encouraged to spend a little more time in worship each day. Whether it is five minutes or an hour of time where you genuinely are connecting with God. It is all about our connection with Him in our spirit. God wants to make that connection in the deepest part of us. Our spirit of man is like "the holy of holies" where God dwells. When we are able to experience His glory in that place we will sense a fulfillment that cannot be found anywhere else. As we spend more time in worship He will inhabit our praise in more tangible ways.
But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of
(Psalms 22:3)
We are literally created for His glory. His glory is meant to dwell within us. As Jesus promised, He will abide in us as we allow His words to dwell in us. (John 15:7) The words and promises of God carry an innate glory that will carry into our spirit as a place of imprint and impartation. Increasing our times in the place of worship will increase His imprint on our hearts. His mark on our lives will be revealed in deeper dimensions in this place of worship. All creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God in the earth. All creation awaits for the realm of God that is "other" than this earth to be revealed. The heavenly
II. LEARNING TO RECEIVE
James 4:10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
Learning to receive in a place of humility we allow us to go higher in Him. He will lift us up as we bow before His throne and receive the goodness of His Presence in our lives. As we continually choose Him to be our King we will rule as well in all aspects of our lives. The children of
III. A NEW SOUND RELEASED
As we spend more time in worship and learn to receive in these times a new sound will be released within our spirit that will cause us to experience His breakthroughs that are like the "sound" of many waters.
Psalms 29:3
The voice of the LORD is on the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is on many waters.
Revelation of John 19:6
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunder, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
There is a multiplication that occurs in our times with Him. His voice within us will be multiplied. Our realms of influence will increase. The tent pegs will be moved for expansion. God is the God of multiplication, expansion and increase.
It is His nature to multiply and bless. A moment in His Presence will cause His Kingdom realities to manifest and change things. His Presence is "freshness". It is always "new". He does not get "old". Isn't that amazing? It is the same with our spirit man. No matter what age we are we are forever young inside. When we hang around Him we will always experience the freshness of His love and goodness. A saw and heard a vision of a young girl singing through a mic that was being processed through an amazing invention. Her voice was multiplied. She sounded like many voices all at once. She was making an amazing sound! She came away smiling knowing that she really could not sing that well. Because of the Lord multiplying here voice she was amazing in the anointing. Isn't that the way it ought to be? This new sound will release a eternal joy in our hearts as we simply receive it before His throne.
IV. POWER TO FINISH THE RACE
Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy to our LORD: neither be you sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
The joy of the Lord is our strength. There is no negotiation when it comes to the joy of God in our lives. To compromise that is to give away
our strength. We should gladly recieive and release the joy that the Lord has promised to us. His promises are YES and AMEN to ALL of us. Joy is one of these promises. He speaks His words to us that our joy may be full. It is joy unspeakable and full of the glory of God! (I Peter 1:8) This joy of God will give us the strength to accomplish what He has set before us. His joy will cause us to ride on the high hills of His Presence being guarded by His peace. We all have a race to run, a race to finish. He has given us all that we need to run well and finish well. With joy we will drink from the wells of salvation - it is a promise!
