The prayers of the saints who have gone on to the Lord will have impact in the generations to come. They left seed for bearing fruit. As Elijah entered heaven he cast his mantle down.  How many today are casting a mantle down?

Many times for religiosity and religious correctness we ignore what is going on in the Spirit realm when a minister goes to the Lord.  God is calling a generation, but it is often the few, the remnant, who have been prepared in the hardest of situations that catch what the spirit realm is doing.

Elijah's translation to heaven was a major shift.  The year of the whirlwind is upon us, and there are going to be shifts. The prophetic company can be chattering away, even prophesying the shifts. But it is he who sees and takes hold of the mantle that will have the authority to reproduce the works, to bring shifts in kings and governments.

Recognizing Shifts

Revivals passed caused shifts, and today is no different. The past revivals are those where mantles were thrown down, but stayed down on the ground...because the move of the Spirit had waned and people were distracted. We can be distracted by anything apparently spiritual...the trend...the music...the message...but if you have not spent time on the mountain, alone...you will never see the mantle floating down.

The challenge of the hour is to recognize.

James Goll had published his dream yesterday in which he saw John Wimber praying in a auditorium...it is puzzling to see how a saint who has gone on to glory can impact today...but even Elisha's bones raised up a man...so our legacy can revive the souls of a generation.

I see that the moves that have characterized the last 40 years will bring forth a generation radical in holiness, teachable in spirit, and firey in ministry.

Let us recognize the descending mantle.
