I have not spoken to anyone personally about what I am about to share. I have been sensing this from my times with the Lord over the last few days. Although we live in a specific geographic area (& I claim no global sphere of authority), I also know that the Church is being prepared in ways that go beyond the past, and many have no frame of reference for what God is doing.

I want to encourage those of you who really believe God has made you some "big" promises, but they have yet to emerge. In fact, it seems you are farther away from them than when you first received along these lines. Be encouraged - it doesn't matter how old you are, what seemingly irreversible mistake you may have made, what has been done to you, or how you feel there is nothing to embrace any longer on these matters. God is who He says He is & knew about this day - "today" - when all was first released to you.
-
Moreover- some of you are thinking and feeling (even dwelling on the sense) that absolutely everything you've ever believed, long convinced of, known to be true, and been able to rely on, is being severely challenged beyond any test you have experienced in the past. In fact, in the natural all you have been pursuing is failing right before your eyes and you have nothing in your past & present spiritual repertoire to fall back on to regain any sense of confident expectancy.
-
Also, there is the increasing sense in some that you cannot talk with anyone about what you are going through. In these instances, it is so difficult to comprehend, and so complicated to explain, there is a fear that if you began to speak about it you would not be able to stop. There seems to be no end to it and no actual getting to the bottom of it. It is seemingly endless.

This I can say from personal experience as well as from the Spirit of the Lord - in whatever way you can relate to what I have described you very well may be 'at the front of the line' for what God is preparing His people for in this upcoming new season. He will be unveiling it to those who will allow themselves to be fully engaged by Him in the Spirit. But it will not come to those who wait until 'something is happening,' or hang on until 'when things change.' It will take place in, for and even through those who ready themselves by getting their relational and spiritual 'to-do' accounts settled with God. That is how you will become solvent in the ways which amass the riches Christ has in His Glory for His people.
Be one of those!

It's so simple we miss it - the key to hearing God is truly wanting whatever He wants! We've developed such a pragmatic, even transactional approach to the prophetic realm over the years that we have arrived with 'us' at the center of the equation. But really, although God is ALWAYS wanting to reveal Himself to us through an authentic experience and intimacy with His Spirit, since He is God, the issue is really what He wants to reveal much more than it is what we want to 'know.'

Jesus came to "preach the Kingdom of God... for therefore am I sent" (Lk.4:43). We are also commissioned to do the same (Lk.9:60). That in mind, two questions are worth considering. First, how is the Holy Spirit's presence related to the Kingdom of God? They are inseparable. Jesus said: "if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, and the kingdom of God has come upon you" (Mt.12:28). It is the clear biblical testimony that Jesus did what He did by the "power" of the "Holy Spirit" (Lk.4:14; Ac.10:38).

In Part 1 we began to address what so many face, but rarely, if ever, speak of: "Why does it seem like so much of my prayer must be missing the target? What am I doing wrong? I believe the Bible and I'm praying in faith. Why isn't it being answered accordingly?" We answered by illustrating the extent to which we, God's very own, tend to be much more transactional than relational, more accustomed and attuned to 'doing life' by mechanisms which eliminate the necessity of being 'in the moment.' Punch a few buttons, or speak a few words, and "the whole world" opens to you, but can't this be at the expense of your "own soul?" As Jesus said: "what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mt.16:26).
