The Lord Says, I Will Do What I Have Promised by Lana Vawser

By Lana Vawser
Lately, the Lord has been impressing His faithfulness upon my heart for the body of Christ right now. As I sat with the Lord and spent time seeking His heart, I heard Him say: "I will not fail you. I will do that which I have promised." "You keep every promise You've ever made to me! Since Your love for me is constant and endless, I ask You, Lord, to finish every good thing that You've begun in me!" (Ps. 138:8, TPT). "The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; do not abandon the works of Your hands" (Ps. 138:8, NASB). I had a very deep sense that many in the body of Christ are needing hope right now. A ferocious battle against what God has spoken has been unleashed against them.

Lately, the Lord has been impressing His faithfulness upon my heart for the body of Christ right now. As I sat with the Lord and spent time seeking His heart, I heard Him say:

"I will not fail you. I will do that which I have promised."

"You keep every promise You've ever made to me!

I heard the Lord say, "Do not be confused. I am faithful to do that which I have said I will do. I am not a man that I should lie. I will do what I said I will do."

The accomplishing work of the Lord will be seen in mighty and powerful ways. Do not entertain any other narrative. The Lord is reintroducing His people to His faithfulness.

He is bringing His people into the glorious place of confidence, peace and joy in the revelation of Lamentations 3:21-24 (ESV): "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, therefore I will hope in Him.'"

Faithfulness that Changes the Trajectory of Your Life

The Lord showed me that so many in 2020 have faced deep hardship, trauma and trial ... but He wants to encourage His people: "You shall see my faithfulness." He says, "The demonstration of My faithfulness will change the trajectory of your life."

For many of you, there's been an intense battle over the "word of the Lord" that has escalated intensely over the last few months. This battle has been fierce because of the incredible demonstration of His power and faithfulness that's coming to you when He fulfills that which He has spoken. It's also been fierce because the manifestation of what He has spoken to you is going to change the trajectory of your life in such a significant way that it will move you into the glorious, unexpected directions of the Lord's hand.

I was surrounded with a strong sense and reminder that nothing changes the faithfulness of God. No situation, no narrative, no attack of the enemy can shift or change the faithfulness of the Lord.

I heard the Lord say, "My faithfulness will trump all opposing circumstances."

So today, friend, I encourage you, hope in the Lord. Remind yourself today of who He is and feast on His faithfulness and how He has come through for you before.

The Lord is going to powerfully demonstrate His faithfulness toward you in such profound and miraculous ways, even before the year's end, which will cause you to fall even deeper in love with Him.

He will not fail you. The Lord is about to do what He said He was going to do.
