A Third Party by Pam Clark

There is a Third party in the Room. Yes, it is so sad to hear of all the testimonies of things going on. And now that there is controversy, everyone is trying to "manage it." But from a believing prophetic view, there is another message. The prayer stream got polluted and God started resisting hearing those prayers. I am not here to point fingers. I have been through my own traumas. And we can go looking for the "right person or persons" when in fact, there is no human who is. But there is another Person in the Room!

God is very long suffering. Not only that, He is very patient. We can think, "Well that ought to be or needs to be fixed NOW!" But we aren't the Lord. And for us, especially in suffering, that is difficult. WE are tempted to manage things.

The Apostle Paul explains it. There is a Body, and it has many parts, AND, they are all supposed to fit together in a divine Plan. Seriously.

Yes, we see many want to help. Even I want to help with what I know, but I am also not trying to be "The Solution." For sure, if I were, I would have some self interest in the mix! I am sure quite a number of others do too, especially when it touches the hearts and emotions of so many people.

But when you are a part of a prayer stream that goes around the world, on TV, radio and satellite locations, and the Word is lifted up, and a Spirit is too, and then things go wrong, it has to be examined.

The reason I just worded that as "a Spirit" is because sometimes, sometimes many times, the spirit of man takes over and man claims to to know "all things." The real Spirit never changes, but it can be us who do not see everything.

There is another Person in the room, and is is wonderful to know His Presence, and sometimes there are two persons: the Lord and the devil, because the devil comes to oppose and challenge His Work.

God can come and grace, or anoint, the work that is there from sincere hearts. But when it is not right or is not pure, then the Stream is blocked. He says, "No, I will not receive that."

Is God Here?

He has great grace and tender mercy, but He is the LORD. He came to Abraham and said: "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect."  Genesis 17:1 (KJV)

Those were the early days of a global promise that would span MANY generations. And as we say, we are in the last days.

I don't think I have ever been to a church or ministry that ever believed they were not right. It's human nature that has “knowledge." Romans 10:2 reads, "For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge."

Okay, so is this a contest of zeal? No, you know it is not. Zeal can be a virtue if it has knowledge, but who is the authority on that? Do we fight it out with each other on who does, or do we encounter Him?

Internally we know that answer, or, we just say we don't know - IF we have a humble and teachable spirit. But I don't want to say "I know all things" or I would betray my own words here!

We can look around the room, wherever we are and say, "Is God here?" And we can say "Of course He is here because He is everywhere!"  Or we can ask our own spirit, "Is He here in my heart and mind and understanding??'

And if there is conflict, we can ask, "Am I maturing in this? Am I doing this right?" And we CAN address it! Prayer is not a fleeting pastime, it MEANS something!  There is another Person in the room!

I say that also as one who has battled suicide spirits because of things I have been through. And really some of that started as a child that had been scorned, but when I was older and challenged by some leaders in a church, the battle was full on real. In fact, God intervened, and I threw up my poison and then I received an awesome vision of being in the palm of His Hand.

There is no glory of self in my heart by sharing this. I was wanting to check out! You know, give up and quit! But God saw me looking toward Him and He intervened. I am sure there were some prayers, too, that I had no idea about.

But His Reality is there - the witness and evidence for me of it was there in a successful way. And that does not mean that I have not struggled, nor does it mean that I was given all the answers, nor does it mean that I was spared, and others were not, it means that my purpose was not fulfilled yet.

I love sharing about the Lord, but I am not an expert. I don't know of any flesh that is, even though there are Godly people. But sometimes we can exalt ourselves or each other in our groups and miss God.

There is a River

I used to go to the prayer rooms and then there was a place (or places) where that River divided and I had to choose, or was directed, to take another fork of the Outgoing Stream!

There IS a River that comes from the THRONE (that none of us sit on, that is not moved nor shaken) and I have to choose to serve Him. I have to be "perfect," or perfected, and please Him!

Oh, that is not something easy always! When we find comfort, especially in our self-worth, it can get to our head. But when we MATURE, we learn that God is not the only one in those decisions, but we are too. WE have to choose!

We can choose to take on His Nature as humble, and there are times when we can rise up in some strong authority, but the Ultimate King is Him. And He has given us His Word on what is right and wrong.

But it's not just repetitive ritual, but He is a Place and is a Spirit that we can encounter and grow more in Him. Our spirit grows and that does affect our mind and soul and even our bodies and choices. Are we willing to mature?

Are we on earth supposed to find the most righteous man or woman we can and say, "You are the one we follow!" Or can we do this in His Spirit?

We don't just wrestle in our minds, but also our spirits, and THAT is where we have to give an account. No looking to the right or left for justification, can we look at Him???

And then we also have to be noticing if someone "else" might be in the Room, and that is the devil, and that Room is also in us.

Have WE compromised, or been deceived? Many times, our answer is yes and we have to repent. We have to do it His way, because the Main Man in the Main Room needs to be the Lord. But do we know Him? Do we recognize Him?  HE says He is Love!

Jesus was tempted (Mark 4 and Luke 4) by the enemy over who gets the glory. He was in the flesh and was captivated by a spirit realm that was fully intent on leading Him to compromise.

He was hungry and probably hurting too, after 40 days in the wilderness with the wild beasts and the rejecting terrain, and he was fasting too. These temptations were strong.

And thus, we are given this understanding from 1 John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

Jesus overcame. We live in flesh right now and we live in this fallen world. We are tested and buffeted but our confession seals us.

There IS Someone else in the Room and it is not our place to take over His work. We can repent and move on, but if we are playing games, a worse thing could come upon us.
