God has you covered.

My times are in Your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies. Psalm 31:15 NKJV

We are in a time that may feel out of control, but God still has things covered! He has not forgotten you or the promises of things to come.

I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly. Isaiah 60:22 NIV

What is the current time and season?

We are in a time of transition and a season of change.

I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. Hosea 2:15 NLT

Many are in a time of trouble, but this season of transition is designed by the Lord to prepare you. God is preparing us to enter a new spiritual door of hope.

This is a Time to Hear the Voice of God

The purpose of hearing God is to know Him better and help others do the same!

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  Ephesians 1:17 NIV

Prophecy and revelation are for encouragement, not judgment.

But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. 1 Corinthians 14:3 NIV

The Secret to Hearing God

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. Song of Songs 8:6–7 NIV

We need to go beyond just seeking the Lord for answers. We need to know Him as Father, friend, and the source of all love. A big secret to hearing God is to have intimacy over rules and regulations.

God is Speaking All the Time

For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. Job 33:14 NKJV

Has this ever happened to you?

  • You’re in the grocery store and you feel that you should be in a particular line and that one goes faster.
  • A person from the past comes to mind and out of the blue they contact you.
  • When driving, you feel that you should slow down and then you see the police.
  • You hear a song play and that is exactly what you are going through.
These are all examples of how the Lord is communicating to your spirit! This is not a coincidence, it is a “God incidence.”

Steps for Hearing God Accurately

  • Establish a daily connection with the Lord.
  • Keep the spiritual atmosphere clean.
  • Track what God is saying.
  • Activate it into your life.
  • Learn to discern.
How to Activate what You are Hearing

Do daily spiritual activations to keep your gifts alive. Go to the “gym of Heaven” every day!

Journal and then activate yourself by giving encouragement or a prophetic word via social media, email or text.

Keep track of things that God has spoken to you and take baby steps toward them. Do research, send an email, read a book, etc.

It Takes Practice

But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Hebrews 5:14 NIV

The next time you hear God, and it is confirmed, try these:

  • Rehearse in your mind what it felt like when you received the revelation.
  • How did it sound, taste or smell?
  • Keep track of the different ways God speaks to you!
Prayer to Open Your Hearing

Lord, we ask for the eyes of our hearts to be opened!

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:18 NKJV

The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. Colossians 1:26

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

Hearing God is easy, and it all boils down to love!

Blessings,
