I remember walking down the well-worn sidewalks of Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California back in the mid 90's and thinking about all the rich history of such a beloved and controversial city. For some, it's the thrill of the flash and the rush of stardom that draws them to go to any length to relocate to the place people call the "City of Dreams." For others, it's the place where only demons reside and judgment looms. But for God, it's the place where people live and His inheritance awaits. It's the place where The Creator of the Universe creates and messages of hope come flooding through the movie screen and into the hearts of humanity; causing them to awaken to a new reality they've never known before.Hollywood is not just "another" city. It's a city that is transitional and transformational. It's a land where many have come in hopes of making their mark in the earth and it's the city that affects billions of people all over the planet through its movies. Regardless of what you may think about Hollywood, it's affect, whether good or bad, has made its mark and it's about ready to go to a whole new level by way of divine influence. Heavens creativity is brewing and Holy Spirit is brooding over the skies and hearts of His healers throughout Los Angeles and God is about ready to release the floodgates of His goodness in ways His people have dreamed of. The City of Angels has been crying out for the angels to step up their activity and that cry has now released healing with tangibility that will be seen in epic ways.
Many of Gods children have labored tirelessly, praying and believing for a massive move of The Spirit to change the lives of all those in the industry and beyond. They've been through challenges that have tested them beyond what they thought they could endure. They have walked the mile and then some with the broken, confused and dream shattered in Hollywood. They've cried out to God asking him to send his power and love into the city. God's people have stayed the course believing for something greater, even when they were forced to move out of the area due to circumstances beyond their control. But there is hope, real hope. For those of you who have given so much to Hollywood and Los Angeles in general, the Lord of the Harvest, The God who owns creativity, The God who is love, wants you to know that your labor of love has come up before him and he is answering your prayers for help. He is sending more healers into your fields, He is sending more capital to fund his vision for Hollywood, and He is flooding the city with tangible love - the kind of love that shakes the ground and stuns the skeptic. He is coming to a city near you, it's not only near you, it is you, Hollywood!
I Am Sending My Grace Filled Apostles to Reverse what has Been Spoken
While attending a prophetic gathering at a house in Oregon recently, something unusual and extraordinary occurred in The Spirit. Normally, you come to a prophetic meeting that involves a whole lot of prophesying and teaching, and those things are great when they flow, but this time something deeper was taking place in the hearts of those who were there. God brought people from several ethnicities to come to the meeting that day to unveil something he is about to do in Hollywood and beyond. He brought The 1st Nations, African-Americans, and Caucasians alike together to reveal His heart for reconciliation and restoration. Right in the midst of the violence, racial tensions and death in America, God was demonstrating His great love for His people in the room that day. A movie script writer and producer showed up. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers were there. Those who had a heart and burden for Hollywood were there, along with The 1st Nations people from Los Angeles. You couldn't have planned this kind of get together in the natural if you tried. It was supernatural and it was a sign of healing for the people groups and for what the Lord has been and will do on the movie screens all over the world. He was showing us what He was about ready to release into Hollywood and it gave everyone there this sense of wonder and awe over His plans.
"We are living in a moment of time where the Church, Christ's glorious bride, will be known, genuinely known, by her love and honor for one another to a world who recognizes something real when they experience it".
God is raising up apostolic leaders to go into Hollywood who have been through the proving ground of integrity and love. They are the sent ones who have been sent in with a commission of creativity to tear down formulas and rebuild on true foundations of relational love. Religious formulas have gone forth into Hollywood with many thinking they could change lives with a man-made rule and a "justice" filled hammer. But what they soon realized is that isn't what Hollywood was about and how creative people receive. God says He has been sending and will send more of His grace filled apostles into Hollywood who will not compromise their character, and will bring the alignment of agape through relationship and release. Ones who honor the creativity and God given emotion of the commissioned in L.A. and will bring emotional healing into the areas of those who have been traumatized. They will come alongside and breathe new life and greater levels of authority to all who have become weary of religious rhetoric. These apostolic leaders will also recognize the "centurions" of the land; those who carry authority and will respond with healing through honor and respect.
Matthew 8:7-9 (Passion Translation) Jesus responded, "I will go with you and heal him." But the Roman officer interjected, "Lord, who am I to have you come into my house? I understand your authority for I too am a man who walks under authority and have authority over soldiers who serve under me. I can tell one to go and he'll go, and another to come and he'll come. I order my servants and they'll do whatever I ask. So I know that all you need to do is to stand here and command healing over my son and he will be instantly healed.
I Am Sending "Bride" Prophets into the Land to Help Them See Differently
You see, for so long there were influential Christian voices who literally said that Los Angeles and Hollywood were under the judgment and wrath of God because of the evil coming from her ranks. These were the prophets of doom, not the prophets who saw through the eyes of a Groom. They said that California was going to break off into the ocean never to be seen again. They said things like, "Hollywood is going to fry! And everyone is going to die!" and so on.
Friends, can I just tell you that with every curse that has been spoken over Hollywood and Los Angeles, there are thousands more promises over her beauty. Christ is coming after His inheritance and His inheritance is humanity, all of humanity. He is releasing his prophets of "Groom," not those who prophesy "doom and gloom." He wants to win over every heart and every life that resides in Los Angeles and beyond. He will not stop in His pursuit of humanity and He will not stop loving just because someone stood in a place of influence and shouted a curse. He is sending His apostles of love and mercy into the city and they are carrying creativity within the depths of wisdom to a land where hearts have been heavy and lives have been lost. Some are coming incognito and some are coming to stand on the Hollywood stage in front of the show. They are filled with supernatural know-how and they will not back up or back down from releasing the heart of God on every level and in every way. They are coming to stay.
Get ready Church, you are about ready to see something come out of Hollywood and onto the big screen that will cause your jaw to drop at the quality and tangibility of what has been written. You and I are about to see amazing creativity flowing through the hands of business men and women, CEOs, producers, actors, writers, and ministries from the Southern California area that will provoke a holy jealousy to arise like we've never seen before. It will literally cause some who have been dragging their feet about moving to Hollywood and L.A. to drop the hope deferment of what they've been misaligned with to engage a whole new reality of their calling. It will cause the fear to drop off and a check out mentality to take the back seat of those who have wondered if California would last. It will cause others to be compelled to sow into and get behind the visions of the movie makers, creators, writers, and actors who have been in the land and those who have yet to come.
The time is now and God is smiling over Hollywood. He has reversed the curse out of the mouths of the immature. He knows she's a city set on a hill that will not be hidden. He is releasing His goodness over the region, so the world can see and experience a love that will bring them to lasting change. The Lord says to you, "Go make that movie, go start that business, go forth into the arts, go into production, go make that beautiful music, create, create, create, design, design, design, and send forth my message of hope and love to a people who are hungry for it!"
Matthew 5:14-16 (Message) "Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand - shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.
1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
