Since the beginning of the year has now started for all of us, I wanted to speak about what the Lord has been saying concerning this next year. There are many end of the year predictions and prophetic words released, many new year's resolutions, and it seems to be even more speculation. Many times what we hear at the end of the year is a lot of good ideas and very generic type words. The following is what the Lord has been speaking to me concerning this next year.
A Year of Government
As we all know 2012 has been spoken to be the year government. 12 being the number of government, and 11 being the number the confusion. As we look towards the end of this year to establish a new government within our nation, we need to be aware that God is endeavoring to establish his government's within the church. Without His government in the church, it will not matter what government we have in the nation, we will still face the same issues that we currently have unresolved. Over the last five years many have fought the true Biblical form of government arising within cities states and this nation. This year we will see God's government begin to stand alongside the existing structures that current have a voice, but no biblical governmental understanding. As we look at the Biblical model of government, we see that God raised up new leaders and new forms of governing while the old forms and structures were still in place. We see this with David and the tabernacle he established while the tabernacle of Moses was still in place. We also see this with the new testament church birthed in the book of acts existing alongside synagogues and religious structures still functioning. What we see in both examples is not the new trying to be formed in the old, the new stood separate and eventually incorporated some of those from the old structure. Not everyone from the old made it into the new. This building was done was done by both the presence of the Lord, and in message these new governmental leaders voiced. This will be a year for the verbiage of fivefold leaders will take on a new dimension and sound and a presence movement birthed from those voices.
A Year of Removing Obstacles
This year as the fivefold government arises with a new voice and a fresh presence of the Lord resting upon them, He will enable them to speak to the things that have held us back in times past, with new levels of authority and decrees. This new level of authority and revelation will begin to supernaturally confront the obstacles that have seemed to hinder us in times past. The Lord will deal with leaders this year to rise of the new levels of consecration and sanctification that they have not yet walked in. These purified vessels will walk in holiness in deep degrees. This holiness will confront the obstacles and excuses thus show forth a more perfect way. This year holiness will replace giftedness as many leaders are in auto mode because of giftedness. Holiness will require a deliberate action and response. The obstacles between ministries and churches will be removed if those leaders are willing to embrace what God is doing.
A Year of Crossing Over
These two things of God's government being formed, and the removal of obstacles, will cause many to cross over this year into new dimensions of the Lord. These dimensions have not been available to us before, due to the fact of God's government not being fully in place. What I am saying is not the fact that God's government this year will be fully formed, but it will begin to function in a way that will enable many to cross over. Moses had to stand as a leader, a prophet, at the red sea and made a decision in his heart and decide to crossed over the obstacle sitting in front of him. God's words to him in that critical moment was "when you decide to break through then I will breakthrough". Many leaders are standing at the same point needing to make decisions that they will cross over first so an entire people and even nation will eventually crossover behind them. When Jesus crossed over to the other side, the word "crossover" means to go beyond. This crossing over will not end this year with us finishing at the same place, but we have gone beyond the limitations and obstacles that held us back in times past.
A Year of Minstrels
This year's, especially in the state of Iowa, as well as the rest of the United States, God will bring minstrels and musicians together in an unparalleled way. There will be a supernatural gathering as God is now dealing in the hearts of psalmist to express the songs and sounds of heaven. It will not only be those skillful, but those unskilled. They will be recognized for the anointing they are carrying over the giftedness. This supernatural coming together we'll be a merging and mingling of the anointings. They will not just creative prophetic songs being released, but the sounds will reveal the intentions of God being released through song that will captivate the hearts of God's people. The songs will carry sounds of deliverance once again removing the obstacles and enabling people to cross over and a greater depths of throne room worship. There will be gatherings to worship God and bring His presence into cities and regions.
A Year of Disciplining
This year God we'll focus upon the reformation of how the church disciples. For many this will be a serious evaluation that will cause heartfelt conviction and even repentance. This new form of disciplining will be intentional, kingdom and apostolic. A new breed of Christian will begin to emerge by the end of the year. We will see the redefining of who is a believer, a disciple and a Christian. For many it will be alarming as they see themselves in the true light. We must see the lack to change the course. Pride will be the stumbling block that must be confronted in the church. For this evaluation and seeing themselves as they measure themselves with Gods righteousness will encourage others as they see the pathway of the Lord before them. These new types of disciples will begin to move outside of the current institutional structures and will walk in new ways. They are the forerunners of the Great Awakening we are looking for and will the first fruits of our labors to proof ourselves worthy to steward the harvest that is coming.
A Year of the Virtue of the Lord
God will this year bring many to decisions concerning what they value and what he values. The forerunners this past year were unpacked as they had to go through the eye of the needle to be repacked. For those following this year they will have to be unpacked as well. It will be in a different degree and different length of time. God will bring many to seek the places of his virtue flowing. Anointing will no longer entertain us but His breath will be what we seek. The place of virtue will be the place of creative release and vision. Virtue will begin to form a single corporate man. With Gods government in place, obstacles removed, and new types of disciples there will begin to be a metamorphosis in the body occur. New life will spring forth and new functions will occur. Eyes of understanding will come as the spirit of understanding and adoption will work together to break complacency and the orphan spirit. This year it is key to be at the places the virtue of the Lord is flowing. These places will reveal those who have been through a process and have the ability to lead others out of bondages and into a new birth of freedom.
These are the few things I felt to highlight here. There are other things I feel God will do but for most they are not ready to bare what might be required. For those pressing the mark in this hour realize God is looking for the reformers to carry some of the anointing of those who have gone before us. These unique mantles will empower messages and voices and probably will not be understood by many. This year we will see both the coming together of the Body and a great widening of those assuming kingdom stances but not functioning in them.
