"If you remember God's promise, you will remember your purpose."Sometimes when the pressures of life begin intensifying... the greatest thing you can do is take a "divine rewind." Begin to remember the wonders that God has worked for you in the past. In John 14:26 Jesus Christ said: "...the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." If you remember God's promise, you will remember your purpose. Never lose sight of how God has healed you... delivered you... protected you... set you free... directed your path...bringing you through difficult valleys...into places of supernatural provision. These memories can become photographs...creating visions of Divine Glory within your mind. As you remember the works of God in this way, it will stir up your faith for an increase of miracles today!
"For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline...." 2 Timothy 1:6-7
This is my prayer for you today: "Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for Your touch of Glory in days gone by...and today we ask You to refresh our memory...that we might take a divine rewind...to review...to remember...and to reflect upon Your faithfulness...giving us a fresh vision for the miraculous. Amen."
Daily Activation
After you pray the prayer above...ask the Lord to help you remember some of the ways that you have experienced the reality of His presence in the past. Once the Holy Spirit begins speaking to you and reminding you of these encounters, begin writing them down. Remember the healings...salvations...victories and provisions of God. Make a list of these miracles...simply titling it "Divine Rewind." Keep it in the front of your bible or some other familiar place so that you'll be able to access it whenever you feel discouraged or just simply need a faith boost!
