Recently, I heard my friend Randy DeMain speak a brief word that Judah would go forth in the coming days. As I began to seek the Lord in prayer regarding what this might mean for our church and region, I began receiving a huge download in regards to what God was releasing through His Body in this hour. It also became instantly aware to me that what He was releasing in this hour was not just for our church and region, but for the entire Body of Christ. Here is some of the word I received from the Lord:
In these days a cry is going forth from heaven, an alarm is sounding, awakening Judah, even the tribe of Judah, to arise in this hour and begin to advance. As he advances, the Lion of the tribe of Judah in all His glory goes before him and the children of the Lord will follow Him into the promised land of destiny and inheritance. Judah enters carrying praise, carrying My glory, carrying My promises, and bringing the dominion and reality of My Kingdom says the Lord. Judah, My great lion, my victorious one has been laying in slumber and now has awakened with the light of a new dawn. The dawn of the arising of Judah is upon us and all heaven stands at attention as He enters the gates in triumph!
Let's look for a moment at what this might mean in a little more detail...
Release the Praises of the King
According to many sources, Judah literally means "praise". There is a mighty company arising that is anointed and founded before the creation of the earth to release the praises of the King. At the deepest levels of their DNA is a sound long deposited that has been longing for expression and explosive release. All of this tribe know the sound within as they hear a faint echo of it resounding as new songs begin to be brought forth in this hour. They are drawn to the sound and are now rising up with extravagant praise and extreme worship.
Here is a passage of Scripture which speaks regarding Judah that we can draw from...
Gen 49:8-10 (NKJ) "Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father's children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people."
Judah has a "hand on the neck of your enemies". As Judah arises and advances in this hour, he goes forth with one hand on the necks of the enemies of God. God is using Judah advancing through praise, prophecy and declaration to lay waste to the enemies of the purposes of God and retake the lands of promise and destiny. We shall declare in this hour and receive His victory.
So great will be the glory and power of God upon them, that all of God's children will see and humble themselves before the presence of God that overshadows the tribe of Judah. Praises go up, His glory comes down, and the sons of men will bow the knee to the Lion as He enters the land in which He rules and reigns.
Judah also goes forth prophesying and declaring the promises of God. As this great release of prophecy goes forth, a great hope will overtake this generation. A hope based on the assurance that the mighty Lion of Judah is surely with them. We are not orphans, but sons of God and destined to reign in His kingdom.
Scepter of Power
"The scepter shall not depart from Judah" As Judah advances, he does so bringing dominion and authority as represented by the scepter of power. The children of the King enter the gates of their inheritance with all the authority of their Father to take dominion and reclaim the birthrights of the nations. All authority has been given unto us to release His kingdom and represent Him to this world. Every nation, every state, every city on earth belongs to Him!
Christ died and has provided the key to your cities. The tribe of Judah now enters first with praise and we know from Scripture that God is enthroned on the praises of His people. Judah as a tribe enters, but we do not enter alone. We enter with the Triumphant One, the Lion of our tribe seated upon His majestic throne.
All of heaven enters with us! Creation has been groaning and awaiting for the revealing of the sons of God!
This is the season where Judah is being awakened from slumber. You have been in a season of receiving, and nurturing and rest. Now the alarm is sounding. Arise with shouts of praise and declarations of His promises. Speak to the ancient wells and watch them release their flows. Speak to the ancient altars and watch as the flames ignite. Speak and sing the heart of the Father and watch as His enemies tremble and give up the land. Be encouraged Judah, for yours is a song of victory, and it is a song to be sung today!
