"We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves." 2 Corinthians 4:7 Within every person ever created there is an eternal treasure placed within their "clay jar" that was put there to bring forth the light of Christ and to be revealed in the dark places.
The Holy Spirit in us also surrounds us while He reveals new levels of revelation knowledge. The hidden realms of the Spirit are deep within the Christ who resides in us. Father God reveals revelation knowledge to Jesus the Son, who tells the Holy Spirit, who shares His secrets with us His friends. When we are intimate with God we become part of the eternal circle of God's revelation knowledge. We are the earthly change agents and spiritual conduits that bring the kingdom of God and manifest it to earth. The Holy Spirit relates to us according to our heavenly spiritual identity in Christ not according to our own self-image, personal belief system or earthly behavior.
Why Purpose? It doesn't matter if I'm a millennial living paycheck to paycheck or a retiree traveling the world, life without a purpose beyond "self" is empty. For believers, the irony of life in the Kingdom is that when we seek "things" they (and our purpose) drift away from us. But, when we put His Kingdom "purpose" first, everything else gets added. Each of us has a purpose or book (Ps 139:16) in two dimensions: the first is our individual purpose that God has written in our hearts and the second is the Kingdom purpose of our nation. Knowing both is a lot of fun… it puts our life's direction on steroids.
"Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves." (John 14:11, NASB) When Christ deprived Himself of being God, He entered the humble state of "being" man. There was something He possessed, making it proper to say that He was "in the form of God," which He laid aside when appearing in the form of a servant and in the likeness of human beings. This "something" was the Father; the Father was in Him. The Greek definition of "in" is "one" or same "being."
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying that He is releasing creative power from Heaven to His children to create their destinies. I am pouring out a fresh anointing upon My children. The Lord says that where there has been a struggle my anointing shall make the difference. Every hindrance and delay will exist no more.
Have you ever gone through a really bad situation and realized that witchcraft was at work against you? Well, if you have been walking in a sincere serious way with ministry, you have! Several times, I have asked the Lord why would He allow His servants to go through this hell? And today I got an answer in a way that I can share, in thinking about a situation of attack that I just went through. One of the BEST ways to come against witchcraft is to stand up to it. First, you have to discern it and many times it can take us by surprise.
It's no secret Lacie and I love animals. We currently have one per 270 square-feet in our home. Lacie is excellent at picking them out, too. They're all rescues, and they're each awesome in their own unique way. I want to talk about one in particular, though, because she's taught me something about our relationship to God and to others. We adopted Eleanor at a time when we were "just looking" at the humane society, as the story always goes.
A train STATION sounds like a place where you "stay," phonetically a STAY-tion. We all know, however, that a station is somewhere you go to GO. Where you are stationed in life is about to be your sending point. I was given an image of a woman sitting at a train station. There is the quiet excitement of the anticipated trip. Once you get on a train, it, unlike cars or boats cannot turn around once it leaves. When you step on the train you are saying "yes" to the journey destination.
Over the past few days, the Father has been speaking to me about a battle over many of His people and He said this battle is called discouragement. The enemy has set out to do as much damage as possible to stop, interfere with, and delay what God has promised but the one thing he has monopolized on most is using discouragement to keep many of us weighed down and entangled. Now, I know there are many things that are happening in the world that are really discouraging, to say the least. And I know many of us are going through personal hardships that are just as disheartening.
"By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires. In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God's promises." 2 Peter 1:3-6a God has provided all we need for life. That's prosperity. It ours. But do we access it? Do we pray for that which is already ours? If we don't know how to access what's ours, we will lack in many areas in many ways.
