Are you waiting for good things to come? Sometimes good things are on the way from God but it may take time. I can remember when God used to do good things and answer prayer within a few days. He was always doing something in lightning speed and doing something often. But as time goes on God wants to develop faith and patience in us and He doesn't answer as fast as he used to or may not be doing as much things. That doesn't mean He is not going to do it. It just means we have to be patient. Maybe you have been waiting for a while, well its coming.

Good Things are On the Way
Your season of lack and darkness is about to end. The Lord answers prayer and wants to answer yours. I remember when I went to a certain church for the first time. The pastor stopped his sermon pointed to me and said I don't know you but the Lord is going to bless you. I was thinking, "well when?" It didn't come right away. It took about six months and then all kinds of blessings came for years. You may have prayed or gotten a prophetic word and now you just have to have faith and wait on the Lord because it's coming. But it may not be right away. Everything happens in the Lords timing and as we mature the Lord tests us in this.
In Apostle Paul's life we see the Lord doing things often then we see a time as he matures that the Lord isn't doing as much. The Lord leads us out of Egypt and does all kinds of miracles but then we may go through the desert for a while as we mature. Although the children of Israel really didn't mature in the desert that much and therefore they couldn't enter the promised land. We too have let God mature us so we can enter our promised land and not miss it and all that God has for us and waiting for the Lord to come through is part of that process. But rest assured He will come through, trust in Him your miracle is on its way.

God is alive and well today and He still speaks to us, but many people don't know how to hear Him. So, I thought I would talk today about some of the ways God speaks that you can recognize. God speaks through many ways but here are some more common ones. God speaks through the Bible and illumination; God will illuminate or make something you read in scripture just apply to you and hit you between the eyes. Through teachers or preachers and sermons. There will be sermons or teachings that just speak to you and hit home.

Throughout the ages, there have been some mighty moves of God and revivals. These great moves of God have brought people into the kingdom, influenced our society, and changed the church as we know it. These moves have become part of our history. But a lot of people don't believe they are history. Many people are longing for God to move again. Many prophetic voices have foretold a great move of God yet to come. Hearts are hungry and people are crying out for God to move, they are calling for revival. And with the state our culture is in God knows we desperately need it.

I have been a Christian for many years now. And over the years God has done some amazing things. But there was one thing that was hard to miss and that was the things that were wrong with the church. It has caused me much pain and even had caused me to leave Christianity at one point. It actually wasn't the only factor in my decision to do so but it certainly was a big contributor. The thing is though what I have found is that I saw some of the same issues with secular organizations that I joined and with non-Christians. A theme seemed to be there, and all the same problems arose.
