Out of 39 years in this fleshly tent on planet Earth, 18 of those years have been spent pursuing the Lord and knowing Him more. Jesus Christ found me at 21 years old because I was lost, and He was not. Over the years, I have suffered my fair share of personal blows and heartache, both before and after being born again. Yes, it can be part of the prophetic, but we are told that we will face trials and tribulations and to understand that Jesus has overcome the world.
I saw an interesting vision a few weeks ago. I saw a vision of children dressed in armor, and they were standing in formation, eyes facing forward and intent on their target. I heard a sound arising from the children, "You cannot have us. We belong to God." It was only a moment, but I saw it plain as day. In the moment that I saw this vision, I was pondering on the little children coming to Jesus and what I want my daughter to understand even now at a young age.
Have you ever had Holy Spirit speak something to you that did not make sense at the time, but later it was evidently a crystal-clear word from the Lord? It happened to me a few weeks ago as I was going about my day. I was not thinking about swords, or any weapon for that matter, and I heard the Lord say to me, "Don't take the edge off My sword." I tucked it away in my memory, and it was not until the next day that I realized what He was trying to say. Though I recognize this applies to the entire body of Christ, I want to address the prophetic voices in this hour, the prophets.
