For you formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, (And) skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained (for me,)When as yet there was not one of them (Psalm 139:13–16 NASU).
In the last issue of the Concepts of Faith, I wrote about the guidance of the Holy Spirit, specifically "knowing." Let's look at four of the ways that we perceive the Holy Spirit's guidance: 1. Knowing (See Concepts of Faith 1st issue 2018) 2. Seeing (Vision) 3. Hearing (Auditory) 4. Feeling (Kinesthetic). The most common experience among Christians is to be led by a "knowing." This could be described as "His Spirit bearing witness with our spirit." Others describe this as "I just had this feeling." Some report, "The Lord spoke to my spirit" or "I heard the Holy Spirit say to me..." Those who perceive guidance visually use terms such as "I saw in my spirit..." or "I just saw what God wanted me to do."
August is going to be a special month, as long-awaited revelation from Heaven will start flowing freely. For many people, there has been a drought in the spiritual realm for a number of months—even years. This is now going to break, and God is going to open the heavens with dreams, visions, prophetic writings, strategies, art, songs and more. All types of creative revelation will start flowing to you. This will start in August and will continue over the next few months. The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord's people.  Colossians 1:26 NIV Expect to get deeper revelation and keys to the things you have been seeking God about. Mysteries are going to be revealed that have been hidden away for the strategic season we are now entering. God is going to reveal these things to prepare you for what is coming after September 2018.
Have you ever reached a desperation point in which you said, "I don't care what it takes, I'll do whatever is needed to get a breakthrough!" In Mark 2:1-5, four friends were looking for a breakthrough when they brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus. The house was so full that they couldn't get in. That's when they reached a desperation point. Rather than giving up and going home, these men had a divine moment of inspiration, "Let's blow the roof off the house!" So, they literally removed the ceiling and lowered their friend to Jesus.
There is a phenomenal story in the book of 2 Kings Chapter 4: 8- 36 of the prophet Elisha who went into a town called Shunem (Shunem means double resting place). There was a prominent woman there who prepared a meal for him and built a small upper room for him to stay each time he came to town. The room had a bed, a table, a chair and a lamp stand. She prepared this place for him because she perceived the anointing on his life. Elisha wanted to pay her back for her kindness so he told his servant Gehazi to ask her what he could do for her. He even asked her if she wanted him to speak on her behalf to the king or the commander of the army.
Consider yourself dead to sin and alive to who I am for I paid the price for your sins at Calvary.  I am the way, the truth and the life.  No one can go to the Father unless it is through Me. I see My work finished in you.  I see that you are perfect.  Consider yourself alive to Me walking in My victory.  See yourself as I see you and that is sinless. Consider yourself dead to the ways of the world and walk in it.  Whatever you see through the eyes of faith you can have. I promised you abundance of life and many walk in less than that.  I promised you prosperity and many receive poverty.
There are moments where life in general is going extremely well. Everything appears to be falling into place; everyone's in good health; we have great jobs; the right doors are opening; and there is a roof over our heads to rest at night. It's during these times that we celebrate and reflect on the goodness of the Lord. For me personally, I have recently watched some things unfold that I have been waiting to come to pass for decades, right before my eyes. It is in these good times that we pause and remember those who are going through extremely bad times.
In Genesis 1:27, it says: So God created humankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. Now, in the original Hebrew, the word "image" is translated from the word (tselem); which is literally a "shadow;" an outline or representation of the original. What most of us take from this is a literal "image" -- or that we look like God. However, I don't think that is what God meant at all. Consider for a moment that God put a piece of Himself in each of us. In the Hebrews vernacular, it is not the appearance of something that they concentrate on, but its function.
We are able to access the eternal spiritual realm through the Holy Spirit who connects us to Jesus. He is the living Word of God. Jesus Christ is the only God-given door that we enter into through prayer, meditation, praise and worship, dreams and vision. Jesus was raised from the slumber of death, becoming the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep or died. We know that death entered the world through the physical body of Adam when he sinned, so it took the spiritual body of the perfect man Jesus, to make the resurrection of the dead a reality for us.
I will not be dismayed. I will not be afraid, for the Lord my God is with me. No matter what the report says, no matter what manifests upon my body, I believe in the healing report of my Lord. And by His healing stripes, my body is healed and made whole. I pick up my shield of faith, and the fiery darts of the enemy will not harm me. I sharpen my sword of the Spirit, and I declare only the report of the Lord. I will no longer utter man's report that is full of death and suffering. My feet are firmly planted in the Word of God, and no storm of the enemy will wash me away from this earth.
