Yesterday I had seen a video of a little boy whose father introduced him to his shadow for the first time. The sun was shining brightly as the boy was walking in circles, amazed at what he had discovered. Sometimes shadows appear distorted depending on the angle of the light. The Holy Spirit showed me that some of you are looking at the shadows in your life that are not a reality. Some of you are observing shadows as a darkness following you around, and it seems that every move that you make it is mimicking you, and imitating everything that you do. This is only a shadow and not a reality.
 
Then the Lord brought me to a scripture in the New Testament, which speaks of shadows in a different light. In the book of Acts there was a move of the Holy Spirit where multitudes were being healed. Many signs and wonders were done among the people through the hands of the apostles. People were bringing the sick out into the streets and laying them on cots and couches, knowing that if they were just placed in Peters shadow as he walked by them, they would be healed.
 
A Miracle in Your Shadow
 
The Lord says; do you realize that there is a miracle in your shadow? Do you realize that as My presence radiates off you to other people, they could be healed? You shall declare My works as you experience My glory in a new way. Have I not said in my Word that The Glory that the father has given Me I give to you? You will no longer be in fear of the enemy's tactics and the shadows that appear threatening, but you will rest assured that no evil shall befall you. As you receive more of My anointing, My glory will also radiate off of you unto others with miracles, signs and wonders following. As this adversity has been coming against you, refuse to become discouraged. Resist self-pity and hopelessness. Don't allow misfortune to disillusion you from attaining your goal. Don't allow anything to deter you from going forth to accomplish the destiny that is set before you. Allow Me to set you free from anything that is hindering you from continually advancing forward.
 
Don't bend, bow or submit to any tormenting or harassing thoughts that the enemy is placing in your mind. Refuse to allow any negative mindsets and emotions to bring despair to your soul. Whenever the enemy brings these thoughts of dismay, don't meditate on them but dismiss them immediately, knowing that this is a shadow of darkness. Don't allow fear or worry to take up residence inside of you by agreeing with the enemy's distorted suggestions. You will then live a fruitful and overcoming life as I heal you, mend and repair you from your innermost being says the Lord.
 
Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
 
Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 
Psalm 107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains in pieces.
 
Acts 5:15 They brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them.

Father God has been showing me 1:33. The scripture He led me to was Proverbs 1:33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. Then someone not knowing about God giving me this scripture, gave me Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
This morning I saw 30:30 - the scripture He led me to was Proverbs 30:30 a lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing; 30 deals in reference to the marking of the right moment. 30 can also symbolize dedication to a particular task or calling.

As we step into the new year, I sense a great expectation rising among believers. The Lord is stirring something fresh, and anticipation is gaining momentum. Many who walk intimately with the Lord are believing for fresh encounters, and there is a hunger for more of the things of God. I see the body of Christ pressing in through prayer and fasting for something new, something fresh. They crave the fresh manna. They are tired of the old school doctrine, and they are now seeking revelation and the mysteries of God.
There is a story in the book of Numbers when the Lord told Moses to send twelve men, one from each of the twelve tribes of Israel to spy out the land of Canaan, which is also known as the Promised Land. As I read about the giants in the land and thought about all my friends and ministers who are going through intense spiritual warfare, the Holy Spirit said: "It comes with the territory." Then He said: "Go and take possession, because I have made you well able to overcome."
Every year as Christmas approaches, I like to write about the incredible story of Jesus' birth and the parallel of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Can you imagine the overwhelming emotions Mary must have felt as she cradled Jesus in her arms, knowing that He was the long-awaited Messiah, God incarnate. He wasn't just a human being with divine qualities; He was God, embodying both divine nature and human nature simultaneously.
