Angels are a very real part of the spirit realm. They are constantly functioning on your behalf fighting and warring for you to be victorious and overcome. I want you to have a full comprehensive understanding of what they do. Below is a list of 24 functions of angels found in the Bible!
Angels of Protection
I remember when I was a teenager my brother had gotten into a serious ATV accident with his friend. They accidentally drove the ATV they were riding over a cliff down into a pile of rocks. That morning my mom felt to pray Psalm 91 over us. Later that day when my mom got a call to come to the scene of the accident, she found my brother without a scratch on him! He said to her, "Mom, I don't understand what happened! As I saw the rocks coming toward me, rather than hitting the rocks it felt like I landed on a pile of pillows!" They both cried for joy as my mom explained Psalm 91 to him and the prayer she prayed that morning. Angels were indeed watching over us!
Angels Bring Breakthrough and Deliverance
I remember there was a time in Bible College when I was going through a hard time. I was in the cafeteria and turned to a friend and said, “I’m sinking down. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to break through this.” They said, “Let’s pray.” So, we grabbed hands and began to pray. The moment we began to pray I felt a glorious presence on all four sides of me. I felt angels all around me, front, back, and sides. As they surrounded me, I could physically feel them on my body. I fell to my knees and worshipped God. Within ten minutes I was gloriously filled and refreshed by the Holy Spirit. I got a total breakthrough and release!
The Lord will commission angels on your behalf. There will be times God will send angels to minister to you. If you are sensitive to it, you will be aware of it. When Jesus was in the garden during His time of testing He was ministered to by the angels. (Luke 22:41-43) After His days of testing in the wilderness angels came and ministered to Him as well. (Matthew 4:11)
Understanding the Biblical Functions of Angels
Angels have many functions in scripture. Some of those functions include:

They are sent by God to assist those who will inherit salvation. (Hebrews 1:14)

They can help minister cleansing and purging. (Isaiah 6:6-7)
