Your Joyful King
The main reason the King’s Heart is filled with Joy. . . . is you! He rejoices in your strength & salvation found only inside of Himself.
The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; And in Your salvation how greatly shall He rejoice! Psalm 21:1 NKJV
The Joy Anointing
Take comfort for in times of grief, sorrow & mourning, that God has anointed you with the Oil of Gladness and He has covered you with Everlasting Joy.
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10 NKJV
To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:3 NKJV
God’s not worried! He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Psalm 2:4 NKJV
The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming. Psalm 37:13 NKJV
The Sound of Joy
As we walk in the Light of His Countenance, we are blessed. We recognize the sound of Joy. God joys over us with singing & in turn, we make a joyful noise!
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the Light of Your countenance. Psalm 89:15 NKJV
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His Love, He will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing! Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100:1-3 AMPC
O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! Psalm 95:1 AMPC
Unspeakable Joy
The Joy that God gives you is so powerful, it literally takes your breath away & cannot be described by words.
Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8 NKJV
Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present you unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His Glory in triumphant Joy and exultation with unspeakable, ecstatic delight! Jude 1:24 AMPC
Joy propels you into promises fulfilled from the inside-out.
He has filled you with Joy, Peace & Faith by the Power of the Holy Spirit. This causes you to burst forth in Hope overflowing with confidence in God’s Promises.
May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing through the experience of your faith that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound hope and overflow with confidence in His promises. Romans 15:13 NKJV
Everlasting Joy
Everlasting Joy is yours to keep forevermore! Your joyful inheritance, lifts off all shame as God gives you double for your trouble!
Instead of your former shame you will have a double portion; And instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double of what they had forfeited; Everlasting joy will be theirs. Isaiah 61:7 -NKJV
. . . Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 -NKJV
The Secret for Full & Complete Joy
The secret to having Full & Complete Joy is found in the unlocking of John 16:24 & Matthew 7:7.
Until now you have not asked the Father for anything in My name; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy may be full and complete. John 16:24 NKJV
Keep Asking, Seeking, Knocking
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 NKJV
Calculate the Cost & Count it ALL JOY!
Jesus knew the cost, and He knew that you were worth it! He endured the cross for the Joy set before Him. You are His Joy!
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 - NKJV
We also must endure & count it all Joy!
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4 NKJV
Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
As I rejoice in our God of Joy, I’m reminded of this powerful hymn based on Psalm 71:23
