- The difference between "the gospel of salvation" and "the gospel of the Kingdom."
- The importance of having "a saint-based identity" instead of "a shame-based identity."
- The excitement of co-laboring with a sovereign God to bring heaven to earth.
Steve Shaw lives in southern Oregon where he is still pastoring his
first church after 35 years. The ministry of Steve is centered around
three major passions. The first is Pursuing His Presence where the love
of the Father is experienced and His glory and power are manifest; the
second is Living in Community where we learn to love the family of God;
and the third is Expanding the Kingdom where we learn to demonstrate His
love to the nations.
In Pursuing His Presence we experience His love;
in Living in Community we practice His love;
in Expanding the Kingdom we demonstrate His love.
His prayer is that the church would fully discover their new identity in Christ and awaken to their God given destiny to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth just as the empowered church in the Book of Acts did. Steve also has a heart for the thousands of unsung heroes in America who pastor the small churches and longs to see a grass roots movement among them that would become a blazing revival fire across our land. He feels called to partner with these pastors and see their churches move from survival to significance, where transformed people would transform churches to transform cities and nations.
Steve and his wife Midge have been married for 40 years and have raised two incredible sons.
