I’m doing a series of painting of Europe as the Lord leads me. This painting is one of Buckingham Palace and the Parliament building of England. In actuality they are not next to each other, but in the painting I was trying to capture what the Lord wanted me to put in, regarding England.

The clock on Big Ben is 9:00 PM, the reason to follow

One-Minute Each Night for the U.S.-Grass Roots Effort!

Summary of the rumor:

A message that references one-minute of prayer practiced each night in England during World War II. It says that such an effort is being organized in the United States and urges one-minute of prayer every night at 9:00 Eastern Time.

The Truth:

This particular email started circulating in 2007. There was no particular group that we know of that was sponsoring it, but the email circulated widely as other grass-roots campaigns of the past. How much it caught on was impossible to tell.

The message mentions World War II and an adviser to Prime Minister Winston Churchill who organized prayer each night for one-minute to pray for the safety of England.

This may be referring to the efforts W. Tudor Pole, an English author, adventurer, businessman, and mystic.

During World War II, he campaigned for what came to be called "The Big Ben Silent Minute." The chiming of the Big Ben clock in London at 9:00 PM took about a minute. The chimes were broadcast each night on BBC radio at the beginning of the 9:00 news. Pole suggested that the hearing of the chimes, either in person, or on the BBC should be accompanied by one minute of silent prayer for those who had been killed that day in battle as well as remembering all who had been killed in the war. Churchill supported the idea, which became known as the "Big Ben Movement."

ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT

In WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of
people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed
hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England,
its people and peace. This had an amazing effect as bombing stopped.

I remember reading years ago in some of my revival books that when English soldiers would capture some of the German planes shot down. They would ask where did you get those white planes…British intelligence would play dumbfounded, but several Germans would ask similar questions, God did the supernatural at 9:00 PM

Just on the right of Big Ben tower a face showed up supernaturally praying, the face on top God put in, it was there about a month before I noticed it while praying, the lower face I put in.

Just when I was finishing the painting I was putting clouds of fire between just left of Big Ben, between the two towers, and three faces showed up all using the same nose. I ask the Lord what is this. II Chron. 9For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

God is looking for those who are his. A face in the cloud above the Lion of Judah also appeared, but I embellished that one just a little after I saw it.

You can also find the Lion of Judah written in the trees, and the face of Jesus in the Lion. One of the symbols England is the Lion, so I put the Lion of Judah in the painting. The Lord is about to "ROAR OUT OF ZION,” ONCE AGAIN.

I was speaking at a women’s Aglow meeting talking about God sending leaves for the healing of the nation and I felt impressed to put those in the painting 2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Rev 22:2, and Ezekiel 47:12)

You can see the intercessors at the gate of the Palace, and under the trees by the Parliament building, God is calling forth his watchmen, those who would stand guard. Jesus admonished His Apostle to prayer for one hour.

There is a Watchmen in the Themes River, which speaks of the changing of the guard, In Nehemiah’s Day in the rebuilding of the walls they had watchmen day and night on the walls. Isaiah says turn the Battle at the Gate.

God is calling the nations of the world to come forth once again in prayer and unify our hearts, because the battle of darkness is raging on, but the greater one

Isaiah 21:5-8: 5 They (A)set the table, they [a]spread out the cloth, they eat, they drink; "Rise up, captains, oil the shields," 6 For thus the Lord says to me, "Go, station the lookout, let him (B) report what he sees. 7 "When he sees (C) riders, horsemen in pairs, A train of donkeys, a train of camels, Let him pay close attention, very close attention." 8 Then the lookout called, "(D) O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower, And I am stationed every night at my guard post.
