Prophetic Worship

"This project was recorded over a 3 month period, during my Monday night devotional set, as intercessors and lovers of Jesus gathered to seek Him in prayer. These "songs" were birthed as spontaneous declarations of the goodness and mercy of God, in conversation with Him as I sang from an open Bible, contemplating His intense desire for us, His children to lift our faces to meet His loving gaze. At times those of us in the room became aware of His Presence moving among us, singing over us, healing hurts, breathing life into our prayers, and igniting a response of love towards Him.
My prayer for you as you listen, is that you would hear the Father's heart-song of love and delight over you, and that as your heart seeks His face, you would find He has been gazing at you all along, drawing you to Himself with His love and mercy. This is Who He Is." ˜ Wendy

About the Artist
I have loved to sing ever since I was a kid. My dad gave me a guitar at the age of 12 and I soon began writing songs, the focus of which changed when I gave my life to Christ at the age of 19. I've been involved in music ministry for most of my Christian walk, but several years ago an illness led to a loss of my voice for 2 ½ years, a period of time when I experienced a deepening of intimacy with God as I found His voice to be one of tenderness and mercy (Hosea 2:14-16). I am still mining the treasures that were deposited in my spirit during that time, and believe one of them is in helping others to realize that the unique song of each heart is precious beyond measure in the courts of Heaven.
My journey into the prayer/worship movement began with God calling me into music ministry while I was pursuing a career in the field of social work.then, while recording 2 CDs and traveling, I began to develop a passion for night and day prayer and worship. After visiting the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, I began to pray that God would raise up a 24/7 house of prayer in Utah, where He would be glorified night and day by the prayers and worship rising as incense to His throne.
God graciously answered my prayers in allowing me to be involved in a house of prayer in northern Utah for one year as an intercessory missionary, where I led worship and trained/developed worship teams. In March, 2010 I was led to step away from that ministry to focus on building unity in the Body of Christ in the Intermountain region through regional prayer and worship events. I have a passion to see the Bride of Christ come into her fullness as she lifts her voice as one in an adoring response to the sacrificial love of the beautiful God-Man Jesus. My husband Chris is my greatest supporter and has been a strength for me in times when I would have given up. He always points me back to Jesus, my Source. We have two sons who are amazingly gifted young men, with huge God-destinies over their lives.
