As we came into this unprecedented year, the likes of which we’ve never seen before, I heard within my heart the voice of the Spirit saying, “It’s time to awaken the Creators!” If you’re reading these words, my prayer for you is that even now you would begin to feel that stirring within you to not only advance the Kingdom of God where you are but also to create the abundant life you’ve been called to enjoy. In my newest book, Co-Creators: Creating Your Day, I share a message of what it means to embody the Spirit of the Co-Creator. To better understand this powerful revelation, though, we need to harken back to the very Beginning.
The LORD is a Creative Spirit – and So are You!
We’re all familiar, I’m sure, of the story of Creation recounted in the Book of Genesis. There was nothingness and an infinite abyss. There was no existence, as we now know existence. There was only a void. However, even then, somewhere in the darkness, there existed life and movement as the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the deep. Here we see the true nature of God on full display as a Creator. Religion seems to stop here in the story, though, depicting man to be little more than just part of the Creator’s grand Creation. However, man has always been so much more. The same creative Breathe and power that spoke the worlds into existence inundated the newly formed man as well, and man became a living, breathing soul. “Anima” is the term in Hebrew that refers to the soul – the root term, interestingly enough, from which we get the term “animation” or “movement.” My friend, the truth of the matter is that even in the very Beginning of it all, mankind was created to be a Creator, just as much so as the Creator Himself!
What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways. (Job 22:28 NIV)
You are just a much a Creator as the Divine Creator Himself, and in this realm of the physical, natural world, you’ve been given absolute and total authority to create the abundant life! In my newest book, Co-Creators: Creating Your Day, I share a revelation of the Law of Creation – a Kingdom Law so absolute and so unshakable that without it all life would instantly cease to exist. You see, you’ve not only been called to be a Creator in this realm of earth, just like the Creator Himself, but the fact of the matter is that you couldn’t be any less like the Creator even if you wanted to or tried to be. Creation is part of who you are, and by your very nature – the nature that is the image and the likeness of God – you’ve been given the power to create your days and your life.
It’s Time to Remember Who You Are!
What I find within my prophetic readings with clients from throughout the world and see confirmed over and over again is that there are really two types of people in the world today: there are those who view life as a game of chance and those who view life as an intentional and deliberate act of will. The difference is astounding, really. Those who view life as merely some random game of chance are those who sit idly by on the sidelines of life and pray, “Lord if it be thy will…” Creators, though, are those powerful, creative spirits who realize all the power of the Godhead resides within them, who wake up each day and create the abundant life they’ve been promised. My friend, as I share in my newest book, the difference between these two ideas makes all the difference in the world. The difference, you see, is what separates the victims from the achievers.
Life isn’t happening to you; life is happening for you. That is, if you can see it and believe it. When you realize just who you are and understand the power you’ve been entrusted with, there’s absolutely nothing that can stop you or keep you from having all that your heart truly desires. Right now, even as you read these words, there is a powerful force residing within you, and it’s the same force that created the world and everything in it. This is the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven here in the natural, physical world, that you, even now, have the power to create your day.
My prayer for you, my friend and fellow seeker is that regardless of where you may now find yourself in this life that you would begin to remember who it is you truly are. You aren’t merely the Creation of the Creator; you are just as much a Creator as the Creator Himself! As you journey with me through the pages of my newest book, Co-Creators: Creating Your Day, you’re going to be reminded of just how much creative control you’ve been given in all matters of your daily life here on Planet Earth.
Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; It will certainly come and will not delay. (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV)
My friend and fellow seeker, you’ve always had a lot more say in the matters of your life than you’ve previously thought – a lot more than you may have ever realized, in fact. Nothing has ever been beyond your control, and even in the most painful, most seemingly unexpected moments of life, you’ve always been given a role to play. It’s time to move from the sidelines of life and onto the field to bring to pass the vision you’ve been entrusted with. It’s time to bring your God-given purpose and vision to life as never before.
So, I would lovingly and respectfully ask you, when you start your day, what vision are you holding in your heart? When you travel to work or to school or when you travel to meet your friends or even begin the new relationship, what exactly do you want to create? Life is filled with moments, and each and every passing moment is a chance and opportunity to not only be like the Creator but to actually be the Creator in this realm of Earth. After all, do the scriptures not remind us that as He is, so are we in this present world?
