The Father is raising up Deborah's and Esther's together for the advancement of His Kingdom. What they could not do on their own, they will be more than able to do and accomplish together. The one will help to empower the other because the promises of God bind them together. And the Holy Spirit will set them out as the Father so wills and purposes. He's had His eye on His Deborah's and Esther's for a long while now. He's calling them His dynamic duo because their impact is greater together.
You know those painful, messy, broken pieces we don't let too many people see? Yeah, those. Well, Jesus sees and knows. He knows we all have some pieces that are in need of mending. He sees and hears those bruised places calling out for His beautiful touch. And sometimes we just need to be reminded that HE LOVES US THROUGH IT ALL. That He aches when we ache. That He weeps with us. We don't have to pretend or perform. We don't have to try and act fine when we're really not because He already knows the truth of our scars and stories. He's already seeing us eye-to-eye and heart-to-heart.
I hear the Father saying He is ALREADY making a way for you, and it's not by power or might but by His Spirit He is doing this. He says it is all coming together by the working of Holy Spirit. The force with which you are being pressed on feels extremely uncomfortable, but it's good because the Father is aligning you with Heaven's perfect order and timing, which include the right people at the right place at the right time. And the reason this is happening is because it is time for the new thing the Father has ordained for your life.
Walk steadfast over stones of time. Uproot and plant the fields. Stand firmly in this present place. The prophets now reveal. The depths of understanding run. Beneath the tide of hours. With holy vision the seers see. And broadcast from watchtowers. The poet's words like tapestry. Expresses truth and pain. The sound we hear from pens and swords. Uncovers hope again. Listen. Look. Live.
God raises up His agents of change through the fire. They must walk through the fire first before they can come out to help lead others through. And when it's time, God will bring them to the forefront to do what He has called, chosen, and/or commissioned them to do. This is what's happening now on many levels. The more intimately I come to know Him, the more I come to see and understand His ways are truly nothing like our own. They are much, much higher. This is why He often calls us to spiritually come up higher because it helps us to see and understand things from His perspective.
The old is familiar and comfortable. It feels safe and certain. We know what to expect, and we like it. But the new, while unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and uncertain, brings about the ripest atmosphere for change and transformation. And this is the place where big things happen. God is doing a new thing. And it will look and feel unfamiliar because we've never gone this way before. It will require shaking off complacency and stagnancy. It will require courage and action. And it will require resting and trusting in Him.
We don't always feel like our true identity. Our past, our present, our struggles, and our uncertainties can leave us estranged from our authentic selves. However, we must never forget the importance of knowing who we really are. Because who we really are is not what's happened to us or the circumstances we find ourselves in. Who we are is not what we have or don't have. It's not what other people say or believe about us. It isn't even necessarily what we think or believe about ourselves.
It was Bob Dylan who wrote and sang, "Behind every beautiful thing there's been some kind of pain." Live enough, and you'll find just how true that is. Life is full of contrasts. All of us experience both good and bad times. We all go through ups and downs, and have mountain and valley seasons. And we all, to some degree, have scars and stories to go with them. Our scars are often rooted in deep pain and hardship, but beautiful things can be birthed from them when God is involved in the healing process. And we shouldn't be dismissive of this.
