I have a grandson who is almost eighteen months old. Since he was born, I have said these words to him, "You are a child of the Most High God. You are blessed and highly favored. You are full of faith, hope, and love. You are bold and courageous. Everything you need to succeed you already have inside you." These are words I want him to grow up believing about himself. Why? Because what you believe, you will become. This is true of me, and it is true of you. In this article, I want you to know and believe you have everything you need inside of you.
Everything you need to succeed, you already have inside you – absolutely everything.
Do you recall the story of the creation of Eve? Adam had been alone. God noticed this about Adam, and he said it was not good for Adam to be alone. He brought all the animals before Adam to be named, but none were suitable helpers for Adam. So, what did God do? God put Adam to sleep. Then he pulled a rib from Adam and created Eve to be his helpmate.
Did you notice that God pulled the rib out of Adam? What Adam needed was already inside of him. God had already placed it there, and it took God to pull it out and create from it exactly what Adam needed.
It is the same for you. Everything you need is already inside you. It has been placed there by God. All it takes is for God to reach inside you and pull it out of you. Then what you need will be manifested in this physical world for your benefit. It's that simple.
Looking in the Wrong Place
To begin with, the search started in the wrong place. The animals were paraded before Adam, but the help was not found in the animals. The help was found inside Adam. So often people look outside themselves for the help they need, but the real help is found inside. All the resources of heaven have been placed inside you, and that is where you need to look. It was place there by God at the very moment of your conception.
God has prepared you to succeed. He never sets you up for failure. Now, he can teach you and grow you through failure, but he doesn't set you up for failure. Failure occurs when you look outside yourself for the resources you need. In other words, you fail when you ignore the guidance of the inward voice of God. Failure can be a steppingstone to success, and you should never be afraid of failure; however, when you allow God to bring the resources out of you, he has placed within you, you will succeed every time. Don't begin on the outside. Begin on the inside. Your outer world and outer experience are always a reflection of your inner world. What is invisible manifests what is visible.
Remember, God lives inside you. You are the temple of God. When you look within, you are looking toward God, and God possesses everything you need. All the resources of heaven are inside you. This is why you are a co-creator with God. The Creator lives within you.
Surrender
The only way God can bring out of you what's already inside you is through your surrender. Think about it. Adam was put to sleep. In his sleep, Adam was completely surrendered to God.
When are you the most surrendered? You are the most surrendered when you are asleep. You have no control whenever you are asleep. Your mind keeps working. Your heart keeps beating. You keep on breathing. None over which you have any control. When you wake up, it is all by God's grace.
Sleep is total surrender, and while Adam was surrendered, God did his work. In the same way, when you are surrendered, God can do his work and bring out of you what you need.
Don't get confused. I am not saying you need to sleep for God to do his creative work. Though God never stops working in and through us even while we sleep. I am saying that through your surrender to God you discover the resources for success he has already placed within you.
When you surrender to God, you become fully awake. You become a co-creator with God. This is when God can reach inside you and pull out of you exactly what you need.
Inside you are the resources for your physical healing.
Inside you are the resources for your spiritual growth.
Inside you are the resources for financial breakthrough.
Inside you are the resources for your next promotion.
Inside you are the resources to mend your broken marriage.
Inside you are the resources for every single need you have.
God has given you everything you need. He has given you himself, and he does not lack anything. God has placed himself inside you, and with his inward presence, you have everything you need to succeed.
