Faith or Fear? by Bill Click

Will it be faith, or fear? As the enemy fails to completely destroy the Church in the efforts to take over and control the totality of the human race, the move is from what can't be accomplished physically, to what can be produced through fear. Although the Coronavirus is real, and we are to be "wise as a serpent," the fear factor of intimidating the Church & the world's population renders true "wisdom" null & void and betrays any ability for you as a believer in Christ to be "harmless as a dove" (Matthew 10:16). That is, if you buy into it.

There is a great harm that we who call ourselves "the church" can inflict upon the world. And we are not to inflict harm, instead we are to be the "salt" which preserves our surroundings so that the "light" we are to shine forth can gather and establish people in Christ. That 'great harm' is for any of us to be fear oriented & dominated. If you surrender your confidence by squandering your courage, no one around you can see who God is, let alone be drawn to Him in the way you are very likely praying that will take place. We, of all people, must not fail to demonstrate that the "righteous are as bold as a lion." We must demonstrate the promise and power of God in reality through our everyday life (Proverbs 28:1).

Again, it is not about the decision we might make about a particular course of action as much as what is motivating it. God's Word is true; God's Spirit is to lead us, God's wisdom is manifested in the earth that way. Period. Do not buy into any lie that comes down the path and call it 'being wise,' being 'prudent,' or 'simply using good common sense.'

The enemy wants you locked out of faith by unlawfully circumstances above the Name and Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hell wants the world locked down so that a de facto one-world situation emerges, without what would seem to be the necessary political agreement. Instead: the economic & legal systems being controlled by what 'could' or 'might' happen, with all decisions being made based on that faulty foundation of lies. We already see this forcing itself into a place of prominence.

Time to Rise Up

God calls you to rise up - to be those who take Him at His Word that "if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them," and that we are to walk in the promised "authority to tread upon snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy" (Mark 16:18; Luke10:19).

Come on people of God - show the Lord Jesus that you believe that He saved you "from the wrath that is to come" by the decisions you make to trust Him, even to "love not your life to the death" if need be (1 Thessalonians 1:10; Revelation 12:11).

You must let the Lord set the agenda, "not the world, nor the things in the world" (1 John 2:15).

Know Whose you are, by knowing you are, walking in what He has done and continues to do, by living in His Presence full of His Word. This is what it means to "seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness."

You must do this BEFORE absorbing everything around you and THEN trying to call out to God for help with life. He gave you eternal life, and this one opportunity for demonstrating to Him that you believe Him, trust Him and will walk with Him in the midst of the mess, manifesting who He is in and through your life.

And that one opportunity is "today."

"As the Holy Spirit says, "today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tried Me by testing Me, and saw My works for forty years. Therefore I was angry with this generation, and said, 'they always go astray in their heart; and they did not know My ways'; as I swore in My wrath, 'they shall not enter my rest.' Take care, brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called 'today,' lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin" (Hebrews 3:7-13).
